This cat tower works great for it's intended purpose, the cat having a space of their own and a place to eat. For us, we had to make some adjustments (seen in photos) for our chihuahua who thinks all food within reach is hers. In the first photo you can see Bella getting up on the cat tree, she then goes through the opening on the side of the hut and then up the top hole and stands on the small ledge and gets up to get to the cat food. She is the reason we had to make some adjustments to the cat tree, which I am thankful the tree was made so that we could do that. In the following images we had to switch things around so that when Bella gets up on the bottom step she's stuck without an opening to get inside the hut. If you have small dogs that eat everything in site, you have options. Other than that it works well for our cat and she likes to eat up high in her tree. She doesn't use the basket type bed but sometimes will go to the very top and lay around. Overall we like it, now that Bella can't get to Mochi's food. Mochi likes that she has her own place to eat and be high.

My cat is a fat girl, and it's sturdy enough for her to run up it like a maniac. I liked the idea of the food dish to keep my small dog out of the cat food. He climbed the cat tree and had himself a feast. So, just make sure you set it up so a crafty Toy Poodle can't climb it, and you'll be good to go.

The back breaking work I do for a clean litter box doesn’t make her love me. Feeding her everyday morning and night doesn’t make her love me. A clean house and living family doesn’t make her love me. But, this cat tree made her her happy…. Not love me… at least happy. She didn’t smile or meow, she didn’t shed a tear… she simply ignored it for awhile knowing we were all anticipating her jumping on the platform. She waited until she thought we were all busy with other activities and the BAM! She jumped on it like her foot was caught in a mouse trap. Up, up, up, and ding! She rang that bell like no tomorrow. After noticing us watching, she resumed the “don’t give a care” position and walked away but we know…. That cat loves her new luxurious toy! Just don’t tell her we know.

Our cat loves this. It’s sturdy (assuming you put it together well!) and the multiple levels give her a lot of choices. Her favorite it the next to highest shelf because she can play with the hanging ball and lay half off it and get the rope too. She chirps and purrs the whole time.

I own three cats for reference on this review. I decided to buy it when I adopted my third fur child, an adorable ragdoll boy. All of my cats use it differently but it has already quickly payed for itself. The scratching posts get used instead of furniture. They lounge on it, they eat from the food dish you can choose to put on it. They find it to be a comfy and safe place to lounge or maybe hide if something has startled them. My kitten even enjoys the little basket. The dangling ball toy and rope are a nice touch, which they do find entertainment in from time to time. My only real complaint is I wish the platforms had just a TAD bit of padding in them.

Tree is well made and only took around 30 mins to set up. The circle hammock is big enough to fit any cat up to, I’d say, 15 pounds. Although it’s not pictured because I have yet to unpack and clean it, the food bowl is a great addition! The smell of the fabric kept my cat away for the first couple of hours. But, once she was used to it she’s been in love with it since. For the price, this is definitely worth the purchase!

It was easy to assemble. I was worried the color was going to be more of an “ugly 90s navy” like similar trees I’ve purchased in the past, but the pictures are actually true to color. Our kitten is only three months old, so I am a bit worried about how it’s going to hold up once he’s bigger, but he is absolutely thrilled with it for now. For the price, I’m very happy with it.

We now just store some of the cat's toys in the cup instead. The cat really seems to enjoy climbing in and out and playing with the rope and soft balls. he does not like to go all the way to the top.
