Tree is easy to put together. Once built, it is wobbly when a cat heavier than 10 pound climbs it. If you do not attach to a wall, it will tip over when cat jumps on it. Shelves are small and hard to maneuver for one level to the other. House is a good size and open on two sides to make it easier for larger cats to enter and exit. I love this tree and so does Milo!!!! Now it’s still a little wobbly so if you have a bigger cat or one that runs at stuff with a lot of energy you’ll need to strap it to the wall. Milo is about 11 pounds and is very fluffy, he likes to have a lot of space so the cat condo is good for him! It’s not hugeee but it has enough room that he’s comfortable sleeping in there! The tree was a little hard to put together but mostly because I was distracted by keeping Milo from eating the plastic bags everything came in😂 I’m 5’9 and the tree comes up to the top middle of my ribs (not including the leaves) just for a height reference! ... show more

The cat loves the new “toy”. However it is not great next to a wall as it is not very solid/stable. When the kitty who is a year old gets in to her zoomies and uses it to pounce off it will bang into the wall. It may topple over if pushed hard enough.

The media could not be loaded. I am very experienced putting furniture and cat trees together. This was slightly trickier because holes were not put all the way through the fabric; because the poles were not exactly square when attached, which made adding the next level slightly tricky; and because poles needed to be attached to the condo interiors. For the 1st issue, a pair of scissors poking a hole through the fabric was the quickest and easiest fix. For the 2nd issue, the poles lined up with the holes of each subsequent level with just a gentle touch. The hardest parts of the assembly are the condo levels (issue 3). It came flat, and small poles needed to be attached to each corner inside the condo with screws attached to both top and bottom. I quickly realized it was easier to attach the poles if I screwed in the top screw first. For unexperienced cat tree builders, I recommend attaching diagonal poles first. I did have someone help me hold the condo "roof" up when I attached the 1st 2 poles. In the end, it went together fairly easily, and as you can see from the pics and video, it didn't take long for our kitty to settle in. This is a great cat condo if you use a gentle touch and remember not to overtighten the screws. It feels sturdy and is big enough for an almost full-grown cat. One thing that surprised me is that the hammock (both of them) material stretches more than I was anticipating. I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time. I anticipate it getting holes. For reference, our cat is about 9 pounds in the pics/video. He has plenty of room to stretch out on all levels. I believe this cat tree would also be big enough for much larger cats, as well. Very easy to assemble. Great quality and half the price of big box stores. Closest thing I could find at PetSmart was $189.00.
