Knowing what I was paying for this head unit, I didn’t expect to get the best of the best. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Connection was easy enough (there were issues but that was with my make and model of car, not the radio). Oh, it doesn’t fit a double din. Important to know! I bought a plate for a double din install, but it didn’t work, so I have this installed a little precariously and there are gaps on the sides. Again, this seems like a problem with the car, not the head unit. The backup camera was not good. At all. However, the connections were generic, so I got a new one for $13 which installs behind my license plate. It’s perfect. The remote isn’t necessary for me and blocked my view of my fuel gauge. Lastly, the microphone cord is short. I can barely get it to the side of the dash and I want it in the headliner. I have another microphone I’m going to use instead. All that said, if this had arrived with only the stereo and connectors (no camera, no microphone, no remote) I would still give it five stars for the price. Just may need to be clever about installing it.

So this company is lying straight to our faces, and most just lay down and take it, but not me! So I think pretty much every selling point of this stereo was a lie, like the part about fast charging lie & the part about it being wireless lie on that as well. Oh yeah and the screen being of high resolution, lie! I wish now I would have spent the extra 20.00 and got the other 1 that really is wireless! So when I plug my phone up to it to charge and show my maps it says 6hr and 58 mins until fully charged. It is only at 59%. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS STEREO IS A LIE! It is 1 of the biggest pieces of crap I own. And the backup camera is terrible as well!

Installed this radio in a 99 Dodge Ram, wiring was easy, connected it to a 4 channel amp with 2 6x9, 2 61/2’s and tweeters and sounds great! Apple CarPlay works as intended it can also play via Bluetooth. I installed this same radio in my sons convertible. Image is clear, many functions to choose from, it is a true 4 inch double din, make sure you have the correct brackets.

The stereo was working great at first and I was very surprised. But the greatness only lasted a month or so. The stereo is now scrap, it burnt-out and I now get no sound. Update: After LGSOUND learned of my unfortunate experience with the hexahedron double din car stereo, they reached out to me and were very eager to help make it right. They were very professional and accommodated me with a refund. I will be buying another stereo from LGSOUND, their customer service department are very honest and determined on keeping their customer happy. I recommend buying from LGSOUND, if anything goes wrong with their merchandise they will replace it or give you a refund. They refunded my order even though I was past the 30 day return period. Thank you for your actions LGSOUND, you guys are worth buying from.100% satisfaction guarantee.

Everything was working great. My boyfriend and I both have iPhone so I hooked mine up via USB for CarPlay and it was working fine and then all of a sudden when I plug it in it stays on the screen that has the QR Codes for the Android part. I even tried the iOS screen mirror and that won’t work either. Neither one of us changed and of the settings on our phones so we aren’t sure what the issue is. Otherwise this stereo is worth the money

Sound snd screen quality is what I expected for the price. The USB port is useless for charging my phone. I have my MP3s on an SD card, and some of them won't play. Radio reception kinda sucks. It gets stuck in a boot/reboot cycle if it's cold. 25 degrees (F) this morning, and it took about 5 minutes. My biggest complaint is the screen brightness. It's easy to see during the day, even with the brightness turned all the way down, but it's way too bright at night. It has "headlamp detection," but it just makes the screen not as bright, and it doesn't dim like a stock stereo or with my gauge lights. There's a tiny icon on the screen to turn it off, but it comes right back on if you hit any buttons.

I never thought I could afford such a nice unit with all the bells and whistles that I wanted in an aftermarket stereo unit. BUT with the price of this one, it was a no brainer!! Took a bit to get it connected, could have used better installation directions. But after getting it working I am really happy with the look, the sound and the PRICE!!!

I was excited to get this and install it in my wife's dodge caravan. Upon opening the box I noticed right away that the volume button was missing on the unit. No biggie, I assumed it was packaged in with some of the other items that were in bags. Wrong, it was nowhere to be found! Needless to say I was not a happy camper and immediately packaged it back up and ran it up to the UPS store for a refund. Maybe its for the best as I noticed the "manual" was pretty lacking and it looked like it was going to be a challenge figuring out the wiring for this Chinese crap.
