The media could not be loaded. I'll start with this toy is really cool! It crawls on the ground and can even go up the walls! It's movements are really quick and lifelike. My kids love it! Yet, it can definitely use some improvements. First being that the battery for the lizard itself dies REALLY quick. It has two settings, one for the ground and one for the wall. If using the wall setting, the fully charged battery won't even last 10 minutes. This made the lizard fall a bunch of times. So far it has withstood the falls, but I'm not sure how durable it'll be over time. If on the ground, it goes longer but my kids prefer to be on the wall. Also, it does not work on carpet so you might be limited on where you can play with it on the floor. The other noticeable issue is the noise. It's like a vacuum against the wall and it's LOUD. Many times I was trying to talk to the kids about the toy and ended up having to yell over the noise. Other than that, the controller is easy to handle. The remote takes 2-AAA batteries and it comes with a Type C charger to charge up the lizard. It's a fun toy but needs improvement. I honestly wouldn't spend the money on this because it's only okay. Spend a little more to get a quality lizard toy.

I will admit that I was skeptical that this would stick to the wall but it actually does! Don’t plan on the directions being helpful in any way. I’m still not sure what the difference is between the two on modes. Downsides- it is loud, it’s way bigger than what I was expecting as since we are no stranger to hex bugs, and I’m not expecting it to last really long. Would do way better with vaulted ceilings where you have more room to work with.

I love when technology is incorporated into toys, I had to order this because I really wanted to know how it worked. SPOILER ALERT don't read any further if you don't want to know. It has a rubber skirt on its torso with a fan that generates suction. Kind of like a reverse hovercraft. The listing video shows a child sneaking up on a family member with this on the wall, I guess they were deaf because you would definitely hear this thing coming. Quieter in "ground mode" which is controlled via the on/off switch. Much larger than I expected, nowadays they try to make everything look larger in listings than they really are. While it has a weight listed, I did not see any size measurements. It is about 14" long and 7" wide (at the arms) if that is useful to anyone. Relatively light, which helps keep it on the wall, but also protects it from damage when you eventually crash into something and it falls to the floor. One annoying aspect is that while the gecko itself has a rechargeable Li-ion battery, the remote still requires AAA batteries. Why not make both rechargeable? I am way older then the target market and I am having a lot of fun with this. My pets hate it though......

I plan on using this for a gift in a few months for my grandson, but wanted to make sure it worked. I could easily get it out and reinstall it on the locks hooked on it in the box. I charged the gecko for about 20 minutes while I put batteries in the remote. Why not have that be rechargeable also? The directions were crummy, but even a non-techy person like me figured out how to run it within a few minutes after it was done charging. I tried it on the floor first and it moved rapidly. Then I switched the button to wall mode and tried on our front room walls where there is carpet in case it didn't work. It stuck super well to the wall and I was very surprised at how well it moved and wiggled its tail around. It ran all around the wall going up, down, and across. The only downside is it is fairly noisy when it is running on the wall. I know my adult son is going to be playing with it when his son isn't. Yep, even adults are going to love this cool toy.

Our kids were absolutely blown away when this geeco started climbing on the walls! It's definitely something your kids will spend a while playing with! It's a very light toy and it's very flexible. It works both on the floor and climbing on the walls. You have to activate wall climbing mode to get it to stick to the wall. It uses a vacuum on its belly to stay on the wall and it's a bit loud. When it's on floor mode it's quiet. While in wall mode it tends to lean a bit to one side, but they address how to fix that on the instructions. They tell you in the instructions to not let it fall off the wall, but it will of it hits anything like a picture frame or light switch, so try to avoid those. Overall, it's a great toy to really get your kids thinking in three dimensions and creatively playing with really high up walls!

The media could not be loaded. This remote control gecko can walk on the walls but not too well. Since gravity is the main factor here, it continues to lean and stray toward the ground. It also easily falls off and I’m afraid one day it will break from a high fall. It moves a bit too fast and is a little difficult to control. The quality feels a bit poor but the kids love it of course. It basically is a small vacuum that keeps it stuck to the wall. The noise is quite loud just like a vacuum! Battery life is horrible as it lasts about 10+ minutes and takes an hour to charge back up. The remote control still requires two AAA batteries. Why didn’t they make it all rechargeable? This toy also won’t work on carpet. The small wheels don’t have enough traction and power. I’d be careful with turning on wall mode and using it in the ground, since it will jam up the little vacuum. My kids are small so they are easily amazed by it so it is a decent toy.
