I am the pickiest pillow person ever and was incredibly doubtful I'd like this pillow. But camping is miserable to me because I'm so uncomfortable when I try to sleep, that I figured I'd give this pillow a chance. It is GREAT. I was actually comfortable all night and I loved it so much I considered switching out my fancy Tempurpedic pillow at home with it too. I have 3 of these pillows now in both camp and travel sizes. I use the travel for short overnight backpacking trips and the camp is for car camping and regular travel like hotel stays and visiting friends/family. I can't say enough how comfortable these pillows are and they pack down so nicely. I am a side sleeper and like the firmness of these pillows and definitely recommend the pillow cases you can buy directly from Hest for additional comfort and extending the lifespan. One great feature is you can unzip the interior case and add or remove the interior foam with ease. I like a firmer pillow so I usually overstuff mine and with the manufacture sold the foam they use since it is so perfect. For camping, I have tried many other brands like Nemo, Thermarest and Exped but I am not a fan of inflatable pillows and the foam ones like Termarest use cheaper fill that feels like a sack of chunky foam. Yes, these are expensive pillows but the construction quality of the fabric, foam and zippers are second to none. The travel size is nice and small and while it does weigh about 1.5 lbs it is worth the added comfort for me. That may be too heavy for thru hikers but I am not going out for weeks at a time. Overall, I this is the most comfortable pillow I have found for travel (trust me I have tried dozens). The only gripe I have, is the standard size lacking in stuffing and I feel if you need a regular size pillow there are better options for the price since you are not as concerned with weight for your everyday pillow. I own the Tuft & Needle Premium Pillow and it checks all the boxes.

I have looked at these pillows for quite a while now and just never really wanted to pull the trigger due to price. However, after finally biting the bullet, I wish I wouldn’t have waited. Design is wonderful how it folds inside out to protect itself from dust other elements while travel. It’s just the right size for my bad sleeve and provides a great night sleep.

This is comfortable, although as a side sleeper with broad shoulders (5'9" female, normal weight) not high enough without turning the pillow sideways. Then it is good, but the zipper then ends up on your face and the pull catches your hair. You can do a jury rig of the zipper by putting the pull on the inside and then having it inside the pillow, but for as expensive as this is they should have thought about that. Otherwise a very nice product.

Great design, comfort, and quality. This is my first HEST purchase and I am extremely impressed. I did however NOT read instructions and missed the little yellow tag that said open here first.....so of course I opened the wrong zipper and removed the inner pillow instead of turning it inside out.....5 min later after a quick video from HEST website, I was back in business...LOL! With that said...I now know how to remove for cleaning, removing/adding filling,etc....looking forward to future HEST purchases!

I already own the HEST camping pillow, and found I was packing it to go visit relatives (since I ALWAYS need my own pillow). It was a bit small, and so when the Standard pillow size came out I was excited to try it. Ordered it, and now we are a couple of nights into sleep. It is as promised - good size, plump, a bit solid (but I am adjusting fill as needed). I am staying at a friends house, and happy to have my own comfy pillow. Bottom line - this pillow is great as a personal travel item if the camp pillow is a bit small, or if you are visiting relatives and want your own pillow to rest your head on. PRO TIP: wrap it in an over-sized cotton pillow case

The media could not be loaded. High Quality!! I left a video with the pillow extended and it is super high quality and medium to firm support! You can unzip the cover zipper and remove an insert if you like a lower/softer pillow. It’s about 5-6” thick and I had neck surgery 3 years ago and it supports perfectly! Great for average to above average size bodies. I’m 5’6” and 150 pounds. Guys you’ll love it!! Don’t waste your money… invest in this one! You won’t be disappointed. The stuff-sack is attached ..so no loose pieces! It’s So Easy and convenient. Photo shows two exterior handles!! Super HIGH QUALITY ZIPPER!! The insert zipper on the outside could hold a small pillow case, but the cover is washable!
