Normally we order the bulk size 7.5lb bottle which is already at a very reasonable price but during my reordering I noticed that there was a special going on with the 5-1.5lb bottles that made the exact same amount of Hershey syrup considerably less than the bulk bottle so I scooped it up hoping that nothing would go wrong during transit and that it would arrive in a sticky mess. I was relieved to find that all of the bottles arrived in perfect condition and all ready to top off my ice cream and claim its dominance as King of the pile. Yummy stuff! Always keep your eyes and calculator ready for those sudden specials.

Subscribe and save price at $12.72 for the 7.5 pound or 120 ounce jug is an awesome price. That comes out to about $0.11 an ounce. Although the jug can present some problems dispensing it and refrigerating it with dispenser pump on, and your last pump when you use it, you have to hold down the dispenser pump and turn it clockwise to lock it in the down position. I purchased some rubber caps to put over the end of the dispenser to prevent and keep leaks to a minimum. Now if you purchase the 48 ounce or 3 pound bottle, it comes out to about $0.18 an ounce. This will be the last 7.5 pound jug I purchase just to save $0.7 an ounce. It’s just not worth the hassle. It’s crazy, you really got do the “Discount Double-Check” with items you’re purchasing. It gets a little easier with the calculator on your cell phone 📱.
