I bought this for a vacation rental so guests could lock up valuables while they are out. It is not like a hotel safe where you enter a new code each time you use it. Once you set a code, it stays that code until you manually reset it (can’t expect guests to do that). It automatically locks when you close it, so the next guest or owner wouldn’t be able to unlock it without the previous guests’s code or the key. ... show more

Fingerprint stopped working after 6 weeks. This was used each night to lock up valuables at a rehab center and after about 6 weeks the finger print feature no longer works.
