This Herbivore “Aquarius” Pore purifying Clarity cream is colored blue with a lightweight/medium consistency. I don’t smell a fragrance, if it does have one then it is very light. The Key ingredients in this formula is: -Blue Tansy oil (Calms irritated skin, clears pores, reduces redness, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory) -White willow bark (Exfoliator, reduces signs of aging, alleviates Rosacea, reduces acne) -Zinc PCA (Reduces oiliness, reduces redness, clears skin) This formula is meant to clear your skin. At the same time it hydrates it and reduces inflammation. I personally like this cream, it’s very soothing and hydrating. I’ve only used this cream twice so far so but I noticed that my rosacea isn’t as bad both times. My skin looked brighter and more even in tone. My skin isn’t really broken out right now so I can’t say personally that it’s cleared my skin. But, based off the ingredients I would bet that it works for clearing skin. ... show more

An interesting light blue facial moisturizing cream that is clean and works well to condition the skin. Though this cream is blue, it will not tint the skin at all. The color totally disappears once massaged into the skin. Absorbs quickly and does not leave the skin feeling oily or greasy. It's lightweight and easy to wear. Because it's so lightweight, the first time that I used this I mistakenly assumed that it wasn't going to do much. It ended up providing me with just the right amount of moisturization that I needed on my mature combination skin without any of the residuals. It also softened my skin. Looked good in the mirror and diminished fine lines, as well as softened some of the deeper set ones. Makes skin more supple and elastic and lasts all day long. I am 36 with and my skin type is - Dry, slightly combination and it tends to be sensitive on my cheeks where I have seasonal rosacea. I have some fine wrinkles around my eyes and a few broken capillaries on my cheeks. Overall my skin feels a bit rough if I do not follow my skin care routine and keep my skin properly moisturized. This works well in my oily/combination areas to moisturize without causing breakouts or being too heavy! This is also best for me during the summer time when I am outside with my kids and it seems like my entire face at times becomes oily from sunscreen. This product does not leave my skin oily/greasy and is quiet lightweight while providing moisture. Price - Fair and on par with similar brands Quality - High would do it again? YES ... show more

I've tried a couple of Herbivore products and really liked them. This also seems to be good quality. It feels a little heavy - oily even - at first, but it absorbs and feels much lighter within 5-10 minutes, so it would work under makeup. It hydrates and adds some brightness. It's unscented, and the blue is fun. The box was sealed, and there's a plastic cover under the lid. I wouldn't buy this again just because it's a little pricier ($44) than other moisturizers that work for me and I don't specifically need a purifying cream, so I'm not getting the most out of this product. ... show more

Magic blue cream. It does wonders. It's recommend for combo skin and my skin loves it. I don't get any weird patches or breakouts - forgot to mention I have sensitive skin as well. It leaves my face soft, moisturized, and pairs well with my foundation. It gives my skin a sort of blurred matte look which is exactly what I was going for as it makes my pores appear much smaller if at all. The blue tint is from the formulation of blue tansy oil which I have never heard of but can't live without now. Can use in am or pm after serum great clarity cream I would purchase again ... show more

I've tried other Herbivore products I like, and this is no exception. Oddly, it's both thick and light. I acne-prone skin that's been sensitized from prescription tretinoin. I was worried at first when I opened this- it looks pretty thick and rich. Oddly, it goes on very easily, and seems to absorb quickly. I was pleasantly surprised! I like the salicylic acid, as it's oil soluble and can penetrate more deeply into the pores. My face stayed hydrated, without looking greasy within and hour like with so many other brands. This pore purifying clarity cream comes in a very nice container in color blue and the cream also is light blue color. It contains of 1.7 oz. of product which is pretty good size and even though the price is a little high but it’s a great product and very effective and I think it’s worth a try. The texture is creamy and rich so just a a little bit of it would be enough to be used on clean skin in the morning or at night. The first thing you notice is how nice of a “bottle” it comes in, as it should for this price. I can’t recall ever seeing a blue cream, but it is interesting. There is absolutely no scent to it, which I guess surprised me considering the color. As far as how good it is; it spreads easily, soaks in quickly, and certainly leaves your skin feeling fantastic and very well moisturized. Definitely recommended. ... show more
