My cat normally doesn’t like cat beds because they’re too soft/plushy. She prefers harder surfaces. We got this for her for Christmas and she immediately took to it and is napping in it now! Put this on the couch and my cat, Juliet, claimed it as hers immediately. She lies beside me in it every time I sit down to watch tv and many other times throughout the day. She loves to curl up in a ball inside of it. She's a pretty large cat and has plenty of room. The outside is soft but rigid so that it maintains its shape well. Cats love it, sometimes they have a little tiff over it. I think it's a bit pricey for what it is but like kids, I guess we want them happy and well cared for so I might have to get another one. I know my cats love being in boxes and we purchased a felt kitty cave but kitty shown above only wanted to lay on top of it...so i thought this cat bed would be perfect and yes i was right! Its held its shape and looks nice as well. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. In my opinion it looks like a washbowl. And you can literally buy a round plastic washbowl for under 10 bucks. I like that the material they’ve used was a tas more elastic. And I liked the lining indire so I don’t regret buying it. My 20 pound cat can fit in it just fine and both my cats love them. I completely covered the outside with rope to make it look a little less like a washbowl and more like a cat bed. Imho, you can give the washbowl a try first before spending this much money. EDIT : the seller reached out to me and offered me a solution and also some recommendations for not liking the aesthetics which was very nice of them. Upon that I searched for their website and understood that they have different design goals than mine. However, maybe they can still take this as feedback from more generic customers like myself to bring out different designs of the nests as cats really do love it. As a result of the great after sales customer care, I changed my rating to 4 stars instead of 3. ... show more

I took in a cat off the streets 6 years ago that had been dumped from over 1000 miles away (he was fixed and microchipped so the veterinarian easily found who owned him. After threatening legal action the so called “owner” relinquished him. Long story). He was 2 years old and had behavioral issues I’ve never seen in any stray cat I have taken in. He thinks he’s a dog for starters lol. He doesn’t want to be around other cats, he’s territorial, he was spraying even though fixed. I’ve done some other things like separating him to one part of the house and other solutions, but I was sad he couldn’t be in the living room with me after work to chill for the evening watching TV etc. After seeing the great reviews on this (I wasn’t even looking for this particular item), I said why not. The expense did come in to play for a bit, but I thought well if it works, isn’t it worth it? Let me tell you the positive reviews on here are legit. I don’t know why he loves it so much, but this guy (he’s now 8 years old) instead of pacing all evening or spraying or just anxious as usual jumps in to this after dinner and doesn’t leave the rest of the night. He’s soooo happy, he’s calm, he feels safe I guess. It’s like a big mixing bowl made out of rubber with fleece covering it. Why it’s so appealing to cats, I can’t tell you. But if you knew Ferguson and could see him now, it’s close to a miracle. Def worth the money and I’m considering getting him a second one for his private room. Only one other cat of my four has been in it and she’s only $ pounds full grown. The other two are way too big and I think they know that cause they didn’t even attempt to fit in it lol. ... show more

My cats immediately took to the bed and it's rare that I don't look over at it to see a cuddle puddle inside. The bed is large enough for my biggest cat to fit comfortably in, and also for my two smaller cats to lay in together, but small enough to fit on the corner of my desk which is the reason I bought it in the first place. I appreciate the sturdy materials and the removable liner that I can wash. All that being said, it's definitely not worth the $70 price tag. I was expecting the bowl to be more lux feeling - like felt or suede or something. And I was expecting the lining to be higher quality and to include some soft padding. It's really not much more than a large mixing bowl with a relatively flimsy liner inside. A more reasonable price would be in the $20-$30 range. ... show more
