I have been and still using disposable, one time use alkaline batteries for various devices such as toys, remote controls, lights/lanterns, etc. I attempted to use rechargeable NiCad, NiMH batteries. Nickel metal hydride (NiMH) is effective but operates at a slightly lower voltage (1.2V) compared to non-rechargeable, alkaline batteries (1.5V). Although, this is OK for many battery powered devices, there are exceptions. Now, these Lithium batteries provide a constant 1.5V, irrespective of their use (they begin with 1.5V and quit with 1.5V)! These lithium-ion batteries (2000 mAh) have a higher capacity than most batteries, so they'll last longer and are suitable for high current devices. I am glad to know they will last 1,600 charging cycles. A set of four AA batteries come with a compact charger that you connect with a USB-C cable to a wall adapter. The charger can charge AA or AAA batteries. It is nice you may mix them for charging. Each charging chamber works independently. The charger has many electrical/electronic protections for safe and reliable charging. With its fast charging, the batteries take only about 2 hours to get fully charged. You may consider these Li-ion batteries and charger for your needs or present to someone who has a need.

Got them as I’ve found going through batteries more now. Had them a short time and this is what I have found. Pros Does charge pretty quickly Nice case to keep them in when not being used. Good way to cut down costs. You can charge them a lot You can actually charge AA and AAA batteries in the charger which is a really good option. Cons There are no instructions or information on how long it takes to charge The charging cord is so short and you need your own plug for it. While charging I could head a clicking sound They are hard to get out of the charger.

These batteries work great as I would expect! I have charged them a couple times and used them to power some things that use up batteries fast like a seat with vibration for my baby and a battery powered nail trimmer for the dog. These are way better than the usual NiMH rechargeable batteries because they maintain a 1.5V output throughout most of the charge. I have checked them multiple times and they've always been between 1.50V and 1.53V, so things work much better than the NiMH batteries that are 1.25V. I don't have a good way to measure the actual mAh output of the batteries, so I'll just go by "it lasts as long as I would expect an AA battery to last". I have also put 3 of of these together in parallel in a D-cell battery adapter, and they worked great. Time will tell how many charges these last, but for the first few charges these have been excellent! The charger is basic and uses a standard USB plug, and you need to supply a 5V 2A (10W) USB adapter or outlet to run the charger. I have quite a few of these from old phones over the years, so it isn't that big of a deal. There is one small irritating thing with the charger...it has some loose piece of something that rattles around inside. Probably a bit of broken plastic or solder from the wires, but it makes it feel a bit lower quality if it has something loose rattling inside when you pick it up.

These are really nice batteries, and weirdly good looking...that could just be me. My wife thinks it's me. It comes with everything you need. You can charge just one, or all four together. The charger is quiet and dead simple. There are individual small LED lights that go from red to green. I also like the fact that the lights are not large on the charger, just a nice tight colored beam of light. They have a lot of juice capability in them, and while I have not measured it, my final arbiter (wife) gives a thumbs up for her Roku remote. Roku...the battery hoover...at least ours is. No kidding, these are nice batteries. Easy to charge and have some great capacity. And they are good looking (shhh).

These are pretty decent rechargeable batteries. Each battery only holds 2000mAh of power, which is less than a typical alkaline battery (2850mAh), but since these can be recharged, they do provide a long-term solution that can save you hundreds of dollars on batteries. They are supposed to get approximately 1600 recharges and if that's true then these will be incredibly useful for a long time to come. If not, even if they only get half that in terms or recharges, it will still save a large amount of money.

We have three Blink outdoor cameras and while their battery life is quite good, replacing them can be a pricey endeavor. These promise a 1600 cycle recharge rate which can potentially save thousands over having to replace 1600 lithium batteries. They arrived charged and ready to go. I tested them in my grandson's toy train and in a pen light. The included charger can charge each battery independently and can charge either AA or AAA batteries. It uses a USB cable but does not include the power adapter. So be sure to have one handy. Each of these worked as expected. One of our Blink cameras will need replacing shortly. I'm hopeful that these will last as long and continue to provide power for years to come. Not having to purchase and dispose spent batteries make these an amazing value.

I'm a compulsive early adopter and have been using rechargeable batteries in one form or another since the mid-1980s, and what always happens is the technology gets to a level more power hungry than the batteries can deliver. Until a few weeks ago, I had no idea that lithium rechargeable, batteries existed, and based on these, I'm not going back. My first test of these was in a flashlight, and the brightness difference was significant. I'm almost afraid these batteries are too powerful for some devices. I highly suggest these for high-drain devices like camera flashes and flashlights. I'm going to get another set of these and test them on my wifi door lock. For now, I'm giving these two big thumbs up!
