A little expensive

Ok. I generally don’t write reviews as I feel a lab is the best place to test things. However being an expert in the field for batteries this one I had to do. Generally the mah rating is calculated under a 20 hour discharge rate. Having said that, in-simple words, if you drain a battery in a way that it will discharge it from a fully charged stage in less that 20 hours your actual capacity rating will get lowered. I decided to do a 500 ma load and discharge this AA battery and see the results. It lasted for 5 hours before falling under 1.2 volts. Yes in one look it looks like the actual capacity is 2500. But given the above explanation….. and some more science behind it that it’s not easy to explain in a review….. this battery did fantastic. I believe the 3AH rating to be correct. However I gave 4 stars cause I don’t know the defect rate and the consistency of the quality of manufacturing.( again as a pro in this field I rate differently and more meticulously).

After ordering the incorrect item from these people (which was my own fault) I was refunded the entire purchase price. I subsequently ordered the Rechargeable equivalent, and am very happy with their batteries. I will continue to use this company for my battery needs. I would highly recommend them.
