Features

  • Connector Type: Multi-functional 800nm-1700nm wavelength fiber identifier with in-line macro-bending technology for non-destructive testing, which can measure signal direction and power to avoid misuse leading to line interruption.
  • Multi-function: Built-in 2mW VFL function LED fiber optic identifier; no need to change adapter, low battery monitoring function, tone recognition and other functions.
  • Fiber optic identifier is used to identifythree commonly used signal frequencies, i.e. 2KHz, 1KHz, 270Hz; peak ringing echo will be emitted when the frequency is identified.
  • Hidden Red Light SourceThe bottom cover of the fiber optic identifier can be opened. Stable and powerful spotlight hidden red light source can effectively cooperate with fiber optic detection.
  • Ergonomic DesignWhen holding the fiber optic identifier, press the trigger switch on the front with your index finger. Clamp the fiber and start the test automatically. Press down to clip the fiber.

  • Henkion Fiber Optic Identifier for Efficient Fiber Optic Testing
I recently acquired the Henkion Fiber Optic Identifier, a handheld fiber optic tester ranging from 800Nm to 1700Nm, and it's been a crucial tool in my fiber optic inspection tasks. The device's ability to identify fibers in real-time without disrupting the network is impressive. Its built-in 2MW VFL (Visual Fault Locator) tool is particularly useful for pinpointing breaks or bends in optical fibers. The LED screen provides clear and immediate feedback, making my job much easier and more efficient. The device is lightweight and portable, fitting comfortably in my hand during use. The range of wavelengths it covers ensures versatility across various fiber optic applications. It's a great choice for professionals in the field looking for a reliable, easy-to-use tool for fiber optic testing and troubleshooting. ... show more

  • Signal tracer for fiber!
When networks were all copper, a signal injector/tracer was the most valuable tool for tracing down a circuit. A TDR could tell you about length, bends, taps, and faults, but it didn't tell you where the other end of the wire was. If there were a lot of them at the same place, you needed another approach. For that, we would inject a distinct RF signal and pick it up with an inductive probe to identify the target. i always wished that I had such a tool for fiber. It turns out that there is. The Henkion Fiber Optic Identifier Handheld Fiber Optic Tester lets you identify an individual cable as easily as the signal injector/probe for copper. The Henkion is actually better, as your injected RF signal could leak through to other cables and make finding your target ambiguous. That's not a problem with the Fiber Optic Identifier. I inject a compatible signal with a Fluke test generator. You need a source modulated at 2KHz, 1KHz, or 270Hz. Clamp the probe around each fiber to identify the one you're looking for by sliding a lever down, laying in the fiber, and sliding the lever back to close the gap. The probe will indicate when it sees the injected signal. A regular 9v battery is required for power. There is a laser on the bottom of the probe for simple continuous light injection, or 1 and 2 Hz blinking, for visual confirmation. This tool is just what I was looking for. If you work on network infrastructure, this makes tracing fiber optics as easy as tracing copper wires. ... show more
