I ordered this hammock in grey as I liked the neutral color and pattern. I also like that this hammock came with a tie-on pillow that’s the full length of the hammock. When the hammock arrived it was just as pictured. However, this hammock was shorter in length then my previous hammock, so I had to add some hooks and chains to make the hammock compatible to my stand. Once assembled, I went to climb into my new hammock and slipped right off. I’m not sure what material this hammock is made with, but it’s very slick. Two days after we received this hammock, some of the support ropes have ripped. I’ve had to re-tie several of them already. My wife has been the only one who sat on it and she is very petite. I really like this Hammock. It is comfortable and seems very durable. It is a little slippery for when you are getting on. The only draw back for me has been the fact that I can't leave it hanging like I used to with my rope one because the littlest bit of wind winds it all up really tight and I'm afraid the ropes will break... which actually makes sense, I just didn't think about that previously. A bit disappointed but I guess you get what you paid for. Definitely has a shiny, almost oily coating on the fabric, which I assume is to make it more water resistant. We’ve only had it since September but already 5 of the cords connecting the hammock to the chain have snapped. The only people to use this hammock are our two small kids so we can’t really understand why it’s not holding up well. ... show more

Love the color (blue stripe), love the size, and the fact that it is slightly padded. Would have given it 5 stars overall, but took off one because the fabric is very slippery which can make it a challenge to get in! Once in I love it. Hope it holds up as well as others have said.
