I use to have all Henckel knives but gave them away to my kids. I have good knives but cheaper and they don’t really keep the edge so I run them through the Henckel and they give me a good edge. I suppose the better quality the knives the less time you would have to use the sharpener. I use it several times a week-oh, yeah, not so often now that meat has become a luxury…..It does keep the edge on the knife even the cheaper ones. And no the knives do not get so dull they bounce and cut my fingers! ... show more

Bought this to replace a much cheaper EdgeCraft sharpener. I have all Henckels knives, which I love. Unfortunately, they did not sharpen as well with the Henckels tool. Followed the instructions that said up to 20 times on the Coarse side and 6 times on the Fine side - not impressed. I went back to my EdgeCraft. ... show more
