Look the product is what is claimed. The reason for bumping down rating, if fits snug and very long. Even if you wanted the longer style to hang off the back, unless your head is tiny this will not. Think papa smurf.

Great fitting hat. If you’re bald and have sensitive skin like myself, the beanie can be a little tight and itchy at first. I’ve worn throughout the summer in the heat to keep my scalp out of the sun and ended up sweating a good bit. Washed it numeral times, color looks new and the fabric does soften a little. I don't usually make reviews on Amazon, but I do give credit when it's due. I was skeptical because the low ratings and reviews (who wouldn't be), but I just took a gamble like always when you are buying Amazon stuff. I will say that I'm wearing as I write this review, and it's exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want to keep wearing other hats that are made from crap materials. I wanted a hat that is somewhat versatile and natural. I also was hoping for a little bit of style because I will be wearing it in public. I think it covered those categories pretty well. my head and scalp isn't itchy like with other products that we tend to put on our heads. I'm wearing the hat (beanie) how I want, and I already feel great about this product. invest in something that's worth it. this is worth it to me. ... show more
