Easy to operate and install. Doesn’t need wifi which is great for us because our wifi is not very good. We had a Vtech but it required wifi and would disconnect often. The only downside is the camera is hard to get at an angle to see the whole inside of the crib. The camera is pretty zoom in like it comes so hard to get a good position to see whole bed. The signal on this is weak at times, and we only live in a 2br apartment. I wish it would display a little more clearly, but for the price I wouldn’t complain. The video is color in the daytime and has night vision for the dark. I appreciate that it displays the temperature in the room, especially on hot summer nights. The turning function seems really quiet as it has never caught our daughter’s attention. If I lived in a bigger house, I would look for something with a better range, but for a small apartment it works. I personally wouldn’t use this with an infant. We got it to transition our toddler into her own room. I’m not confident it would have met our needs if we wanted to keep an eye on a younger baby. ... show more

I don’t know why it promotes 29hr battery life, the monitor lasts maybe 6hrs. & the camera has to stay plugged in in order to be powered (unless I missed something in the instructions?) Other than that I love this monitor. I can see baby clearly & it changes to night vision when the room gets dark. Has volume control. & a button to be able to speak to baby via the monitor. Overall great for what I needed. Just wish the battery life was indeed 29hrs ... show more

Bought a more expensive one and it kept disconnecting, had this one a few months and I’m so upset I didn’t buy it sooner. Any parent knows that sleep is precious, having the old one continue to die and wake us up, what a nightmare. The screen isn’t huge and the picture isn’t perfect, nor would I expect it to be. It serves its purpose and moves nicely to get different views of the room (which I promise is more important than you think as they get older) ... show more

We had the infant optics for our first child and the monitor finally crapped out after four years so I decided on this one because I didn’t want to spend another $160. Seriously the best $50 I have ever spent. I wish I would have had this monitor before I had gotten the infant optics one! It’s fantastic and works just as good as my old one and way cheaper. I totally recommend. I love that the sound is continuous so I can hear my kids sound machine the entire time.
