I was skeptical at first but I said what the hell. Maybe it’s just the marketing brainwashing me, but not only does this thing blend my protein powder, I think it blends it even better than my old ball blenders. Smooth as butter. I haven’t tried adding peanut butter, I usually only do straight protein powder, but I assume it would blend the peanut butter fine as well with how well it blends the powder. Seal is great. Size is perfect. Easy to carry by the handle they built into it. Seems durable, feels like a quality product so far. Easy to hand wash too. Color looks exactly like in the pictures. I have used many protein powder mixers in the past, but this is by far the best I have ever used. Just follow the directions that come with the unit, and it mixes like it states. No clumps, no lumps, mixes thoroughly. I got the larger unit, and it mixes one cup as well as two cups with no unmixed product. The construction of the shaker is solid. And clean up is a breeze. I started using a protein shake/meal replacement product and tried one of the shakers I already had. What a mess! It leaked all over and there were massive lumps in the shake. Yuck! So I spent the $$ on this vortex shaker. I tried it as soon as it came but shook it wrong so there were, yet again, lumps. I shook it as I would normally shake a bottle or shaker. That's not how this works! I realized from my lab experience that vortexers work vertically and, sure enough, when I actually READ the instructions (I know, what a concept!), it says to shake vertically! When shaken correctly, this shaker is amazing! It works like that proverbial charm and the resulting shake is smooth, no lumps at all. (It also does not leak.) I really like this bt i do find it has slight trouble mixing with room temp or cold liquid. I got it though because i dont like the wire ball shakers, too much of a hassle to wash and rinse and not lose those so I can live with the convenience this one provides. I find it mixes better if you swirl it side to side first then mix vertical. It is leak proof, seems durable and feels good qaulity. Helimix’s customer service is amazing! I had a problem with my original bottle after washing it 10+ in the dishwasher. The bottle had warped a bit and was leaking. I think I have a strong dishwasher. (I recommend hand washing your Helimix bottle.) I contacted their customer service and they replaced mine shipping the same day no questions asked. Ok, I didn’t realize how much I disliked whisk balls until I bought this Helimix shaker. The unique design of the bottle delivers a smooth, consistent mix—even with heavy protein powders—without needing any extra parts. I’ve had zero issues with clumping, and it’s become my go-to shaker. The shape fits comfortably in the hand, and the screw-on lid with a snap-close cap seals tight—no messes, even when shaking vigorously. The only minor downside (which isn’t specific to this shaker) is the material: if you don’t rinse it out right after using a protein mix, it can hold onto some funk. But nothing a little warm water and baking soda can’t fix. Definitely not a dealbreaker.
