Sounds rather dumb, but this holder is rather tricky to put on initially. Looking at the picture is the best way to figure out the proper orientation. Once you get it, it goes on with ease and protects the blades (both upper and lower) very well. I have the Dji fly more combo which comes with a shoulder bag. I had a very hard time getting the drone in the bag without the blades going all over the place. I was afraid of damaging them. Now, in and out is a snap, and the blades are well protected. It does its job, but not effortlessly. Every time I put it on, it's hard to get it on in a way that doesn't stress the blades. You can make it fit that way, it's just not easy to.
