Description

Jeremy Reeve is one of the best divers in the world, and he’s worked hard to get where he is. He intends to keep pushing himself with one very clear goal in mind: winning gold at the summer Olympics in two years. That medal might be the only way to earn his father’s respect as an athlete. Brandon Evans is everything Jeremy isn’t: carefree, outgoing, and openly gay. With his bright- blue eyes and dramatic tattoos, he’s a temptation that Jeremy refuses to acknowledge. But Jeremy can’t ignore how talented Brandon is—or that Brandon has no interest in using his diving skills to compete. They’re opposites who are forced to work together as teammates, but Jeremy’s fear of his own sexuality and Brandon’s disinterest in anything “not fun” may end their partnership before it begins. Until a single moment changes everything, and they help each other discover that “team” can also mean family and love. Read more

  • Great
This book was written in alternating first person present point of view, which was a first for me. It took a few chapters for me to adjust but after that it was smooth sailing. I dove (ha ha) right in to the life of competition diving and really took the journey with them. The secondary characters had a lot of heart, especially Val who served as a great foil for both men. It was also interesting to live with the characters for two years, this is the longest spanning period of courtship I've ever read. I didn't think I loved the book this much and was leaning toward a 4, but after several weeks the story has stayed with me and stands out as unique somehow, which brought it to a strong 5 stars for staying power! ... show more

  • Good read!
Emotional and hopeful , that was a beautiful love story with two really hot guys that go on flames when they touch!

  • Satisfying read
I read enough MM stories that I find myself dissatisfied with books that don’t have a plot that pulls me in. I like the romance but it should be an organic part of the story instead of being something to hang around the sex scenes. This book succeeds in being a great story. It is very satisfying.

  • Diving & love
I absolutely loved this book! Jeremy and Brandon's story is bittersweet. Jeremy has the world on his shoulders and Brandon is exactly what he needs in his life. I didn't know diving was such a stressful sport but now I'm very interested in learning more about it. I plan on downloading another book by this author. ... show more

  • One, two, three - go
Loved this story. The main characters are beautifully flawed. The journey to the Olympics and growing a relationship kept me glued to this book. 4.0 for flying.

  • Head over heels for Heals Over Head
This was one of my favorite books I've read this year. I loved the characters and the supporting characters but I also was very interested in the diving aspect. I don't feel like the diving took over the story at all. I always love when a story has two POV's and this book benefited from it.

  • Better than Gold
I've been craving a mm diver book since the Olympics last year and Springer delivers that and more in Heels over Head. It made my laugh, it made me cry and it made my heart swell with love for these characters she created. It's so much more than a sports romance or an opposites attract trope. It feels real and natural and right and I can't sing the praises for this book loud enough! I'm a fan! ... show more

  • Good Overall
I think it was really good I feel like I understand that the author wanted to show that the gold medal wasn't so important but I was very invested so I would have loved to read about the olympics and if he placed with the gold . I absolutely love the book except of that one thing. I will definitely be reading more from this author. ... show more
