The reviews are correct - this coat is very warm! I was surprised how much weight this jacket has. I expected it to be like a sweater. Even in the review photos it looks too thin to be warm, but although it's not thick, it has bulk. I don't know how to describe it, but I know it's very soft and warm and very cute! I love this coat so much! It's kept me warm in the 40 / 50 degree weather we've been having. The color is more of a wine / maroon color rather than red. I don't mind because I like that color as well. It's so cute. I'll have to upload a picture sometime! I ordered a small and it fits true to size! There is plenty of room for a sweater or layers. I like that the hood is smaller and actually fits on my head - so many coats have giant hoods that just fall off! I liked this so much I purchased one for my mom! ... show more

I just got this coat today. I'm undecided on how it looks. The toggles are nice but plastic, the material almost looks like sweat pants material. I wanted a dressier looking coat and I think I'm going to be disappointed. The sherpa lining is nice, this maybe to warm for me. The fit runs on the small size around my middle. I had to pull the coat up high to zip it up and then had to pull it down over my middle. It's snug, but the length goes down just past my butt, which is just what I wanted and I'm 5'3. ... show more

This coat is a nice heavy coat for cold winter days. It is mid- thigh length (longer than a zip up sweatshirt) 0and looks very nice on.

I love this coat. Surprisingly warm. Very comfortable, great fit. I sprayed it with Scotchguard to protect the sherpa. Works great.

after wearing it I’m thrilled. Definitely go up one size but this coat is warm and comfortable. Good enough for Northeast Ohio the day after a week of lake effect snows.
