I’ll start with the positives. The crate is sturdy, easy to assemble, and the wheels make it quite convenient to roll into other rooms. However…. The “lock” is completely useless. My pug puppy figured out how to undo the lock in less than a day, so we have to put a carabiner on to keep him from escaping. Worse, less than 5 months in, the paint started to peel off the metal, and the metal beneath it is rusty. This crate is never outdoors, or in an environment where it should rust, so that seems like a manufacturer problem to me. Unfortunately, the seller’s solution is to offer me money to buy paint and paint it. Call me crazy, but when I pay this kind of money for a crate, and something is wrong, that response just burns my onion. UPDATE: After some back and forth, the seller replaced the crate, so updating to 4 stars. The lock on this one is actually a bit better and hopefully I won’t need a carabiner to keep my dog contained.

It's definitely heavy duty and my dog won't be able to break the bars. However, she must be pretty smart or the locks aren't up to par cause she's figured out how to undo the latch and escape. I will say that the hardware for the lid was a little difficult to get to work so we didnt end up attaching it. Overall it seems to be good quality I just have to figure out how my dog is managing to unlock it and fix that myself.

Works for what I needed it for plus it’s super cute! It was pretty easy to put together. I did it myself in about a half an hour. Only thing that bothers me is the drawer isn’t in any kind of rolling drawer, it just sits in its spot and slides out. I wish it was a bit bigger but it’s still great!

Shipping- very large box showed up and was very heavy. but this is a good thing as it was packed securely Set up- straight forward set up, the instructions were easy to follow. you will need a screwdriver and that's all. they give you the Allen tool needed to screw in most of the screws. I did use a powered driver as it took less time. just be careful that you don't over tighten the screws and strip them. I had it set up in about an hour. the cats at one point decided to try and help by walking over everything but that's what our babies do best. Quality- I love the color and it seems really stable. its big enough for my 12lb cat to snuggle into. and its perfect for in the bed room. the metal side seem sturdy but I'm not going to be standing on top so I think it will survive a cat or two sleeping on top in inside. I really like the shelves, they are pretty deep but ill have to make sure I don't pile too much on them because it looks so good clean. the one thing I would have liked is rails on the drawer. The drawer only slides in and is held from falling out by two plastic clips at the top inside. when you pull it out the cat didn't know what it was. ill have to figure out a damping solution or just not put much in there while they are using it.

We got this because it’s the smallest heavy duty crate we could find to accommodate our beagle. It works great! She hasn’t ripped it apart or tore the hinges off and it’s been a few weeks of her trying. Now she mostly just rips up the toys we give her instead of the crate.

I've been looking for a nice "cat-binet" for a while and this one was definitely the right choice! The construction is amazing! There's no shaking or creaking whatsoever, it especially helps that there are levelers on the bottom of the legs to adjust to uneven surfaces The wooden pattern is very well done & the metal bars have a great coating of paint that looks very high quality. The cat cutout itself is great because it has a nice rubber trim on the edge so they wont get hurt from ingress and egress. My favorite part is the fact that it has open ends for the cabinet and for the cat cave because it makes my place seem a lot roomier & my cat absolutely loves playing with toys through the bars. Assembly was relatively simple, the instruction manual had pretty detailed illustrations and was straightforward. I would definitely recommend this as an amazing addition to your home!
