  • Excellent strut kit for my garage door
Size: 16FT Garage Door
This support strut kit worked great to help give more life for my garage door of 23 years. It was easy to install after looking at a few YouTube videos. I suggest searching for this YT video before you start the installation process - @maqtinkers “Installing a 3 piece garage door strut kit” It will give you a visual of what to expect and what not to do based on the YouTuber’s comments he made on his video. And install the middle strut bracket onto the garage door first before adding each bracket end section. ... show more

  • Great for stabilizing weak or saggy doors.
Size: 16FT Garage Door
Holy cow. This was a real money saver for me to not to have to replace the whole panel. Gets rid of the sag and that awful screech as it closes. Direction were very easy to follow. I did watch a video on it as well. Just make sure you have a nut driver for your drill. Wish I knew about this sooner. Very good value for the money. Very stable now even in high winds. ... show more

  • Less than an hour's work and you're good to go...even when done solo.
Size: 16FT Garage Door
I'm 5'5 and do a little DIY from time with my power tools from time to time and installed this kit on my old 16' door by myself pretty easily. As others have said, the prep work of lining up the two 7' pieces to overlap the 3' piece evenly whilst making sure they stretch to the edges of your door is what takes the most time. I used a cordless regular and impact drills and to get the job. Fast shipping and works like it should. ... show more

  • Fix your buckling garage door panel(s)!
Size: 16FT Garage Door
Sorry for the clickbait, this does not "fix" a buckling door panel, but it does reinforce a buckling door panel. Will add years of extended life performance. The reason for the 4-stars is there was substantial drilling that had to be done to make it fit, only 2 holes (the end holes, 1 on each end), and only 1 hole in the connecting bracket were able to be used. ALL (read-EVERY) other holes had to be drilled. Wasn't a real problem, but wasn't very convenient for the installation. Thank goodness I have a drill with drill bits and an impact or this would have been most challenging. But of course, only a DIY person would buy this and likely has the needed tools on hand. Definitely recommend. Seems pricey until it is installed and working, and then it is an absolute bargain. All in, it took me about 1.5 hours from start to end and I wasn't rushing. As an FYI...The reason for my door panel buckling was due to one of the support braces becoming detached, allowing the door to flex. Even after bolting the brace to the door, the buckling, though not as drastic, remained. Get this, make sure you have a cordless drill and impact (the impact is an absolute must to install correctly) and some small drill bits suited for drilling steel. No measuring. Easy to eyeball everything. Good luck! ... show more

  • These Work!
Size: 16FT Garage Door
I bought these door brackets but my door was sagging so bad I didn't think they would work. My garage door is a 16' door and it was sagging so bad I thought the door was going to slide off the roller axles. I was having to push up on the door to get it to roll down. I put these on and could tell the door was more rigid. I can open and close the door with one hand again. The door had gotten so hard to close that it broke my opener. I wish I had taken some before and after pictures to show the massive improvement these supports made. Installation was pretty simple. My door is insulated so I had to make sure I was on the structural door supports. Great product, and it was such a relief to have these installed and my door working again. ... show more

  • Sturdy, easy install
Size: 16FT-20FT Super Strut
Sturdy and well made. Pieces fit together very snug. Plenty of screws to give it extra support. Three piece design gives a lot of strength in the center of the door. Fixed my sagging door. Easy afternoon project.

  • Worth the money, easy to install
Size: 16FT Garage Door
We have a 16 ft wide garage door that we use multiple times daily. The 2nd panel from the top had become bent and the door would not work correctly due to age and overuse I am sure. Replacement was going to cost around $2000 and of course we wanted to delay that as long as possible. We installed this part on the compromised panel in about 20 minutes. The door is functioning perfectly. I am planning to get more for the other panels just to avoid problems in the future. When replacement time comes we plan to reuse them on the new door since garage doors are made of flimsy materials and we feel this will help the longevity of a new door. So far we are very impressed. ... show more

  • Worked as Intended
Size: 16FT Garage Door
I installed the 16-foot kit on a 20-year-old garage door that just started sagging . The instructions are fine, but photocopied, so it's probably about time they re-print the instructions so the images are clearer. I did watch YouTube videos to get a better idea of how to install the kit. The parts were a little bent in shipping, but some gentle persuasion got them back into shape; don't worry if they're not perfectly straight, you can tweak them as you install. The 16-foot kit is a 3-piece kit containing a smaller center section that will attach to the center of the door and two 8-foot pieces that will connect to either side of the door and will be secured to the center piece. This kit is good for securing one area or two neighboring panels sagging. If you have more than two panels sagging, then you will need to purchase another 16-foot section. I did need to adjust the garage door spring when I added one reinforcement strut. The opener was able to lift the door, but the door did not float freely until the spring was adjusted. ... show more
