Exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t want anything heavy because this is a rental house, but I needed something strong and tall enough to keep my Labrador and 5-year-old behind the fence on both sides of the house. The poles can be installed by hand, but they go deep enough into the ground to stay standing securely. My yard is not perfectly level, and the fence still worked just fine. I purchased the tallest size available, and it was a great height for my large dog, who is well-behaved and not a jumper. My Lab doesn’t cause trouble or try to escape, so this fence is mainly to keep him safe from wandering into the street. If you have a dog that jumps, digs, or tries to push through fences, this probably isn’t the right option for you. However, if you simply need to establish a boundary for a calm, laid-back dog, this fence is perfect. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the gate having two locks—one at the top and one at the bottom—because you need to open both at the same time. That said, I can see why it’s designed that way. It adds extra security if you have a smart dog that knows how to open gates. It’s not really a negative, just a personal preference. ... show more

I am using this fence for a purpose that was not intended. While it is made for a temporary pet border, I am using it as a somewhat permanent fence. My dog is older and easily contained. I just needed something to last a year or two. While this fence is not very sturdy, I added a few T-posts to shore it up and the results are amazing. It is very attractive and sturdy enough for my beagle mix. It was less expensive and an easier install than anything else I could find. Great for a garden. Hear me out, we have some super destructive boxers that eat anything I try to plant so I needed a cheap fence option that stood up to a boxer. this is it. Sturdy and easy to put together and now I have a cute little garden space, it’s a win.
