    • Had some minor issues
Every shelf on the rack had chips and scratches on the edge right out of the box. The package didn't look that bad but appeared to have been re-taped several times. The threaded rod supplied to hold the rack together were somewhat short and snagged easily when screwing them in. There was nothing in the spacers to stop the threaded rod from going in to far. Because of the way they didn't thread in well when you try to add another section it just threaded into the other section farther and wouldn't grip the piece you were trying to install. A couple times while threading the section down onto the rod, it would feel like it was getting tight but would then just pop off. Then you would have to back the threaded rod back out and try again. I was able to finally get it to where I thought it would be sturdy enough and covered the scratches with a sharpie, Luckily they aren't easy to see with speakers and a record stand beside it. It looks good when assembled and compliments my set up. Just some flaws and assembly issues that led to a lower rating. ... show more

This is a great component stand. It was easy to assemble and it is very sturdy. The only reason I rated it four stars is because of the footing. It comes with spike feet. It has flat saucers you can set the spike feet into, but I would have preferred to have flat feet that you could screw into the legs included. Since I have hardwood floors I set it on a rug to avoid having a spike scratch the floor when placing or moving the unit. My small KEF subwoofer fit beautifully on the lower shelf.
