It's actually closer to 10ft high to the apex. It took 2 of us around 6 hours to build complete and we had never done one before

This was the worst carport I've ever purchase. You can not contact the actual company. All my roofing metal was over a week late. Every piece was damage. Even the new boxes they sent was damaged. I asked for a refund and was denied. Had to purchase new metal for roof from my local metal company.

We're about to complete the installation process, so the rating is still subject to change. But we're not happy about what we see. There are TWO big main problems. 1. Before buying it, I saw some reviews complaining about no instructions, so I was a bit scared. When we finally got the time to install it, there were instructions--but NONE of the parts were labeled. So we had to guess, and as you can imagine, we made mistakes, which cost us a much longer time. 2. The sizes of the parts seem to be inconsistent. The small bars ("H") are different in length, and many of the connectors ("F") are a little too big, so we had to use a big pair of pliers to adjust the sizes. All of these have wasted us a lot of time. There are some other smaller issues, but we're not sure if it's because of the products or because of our land, so at this point I'll skip them. I might come back to talk about them though. So far, we've overcome all the problems to make it work, but I'm not sure it's worth it. Maybe you want to spend a bit more money on a more trusted brand. We're exhausted.

10 of the square tubing to put together the frame work came without being bent to properly fit on the square tubing , I had to manually do the creasing of the square tubing in order for them to fit the frame square tubing Thanks

Saved my shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrow from baking heat! That reflective METAL ROOF is MAGIC – no more grabbing a searing-hot tool handle in summer. Took me and my brother about 6 hours with breaks (leveling the sandy spot took patience). Bought extra side tarps for windblown rain, but the roof itself is leakproof.
