This one was not up to the standard for 11 and 12-year-old baseball pitching. This one is very good for a beginner up to t-ball for I hand coordination.

    • DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
I would have given it NO STARS , but it wouldnt let me. Bought this for Christmas in 2019. My kids used it for a couple days before the net ripped in multiple places. Was sent a new net and poles collapsed and wouldn't hold up the new net which was smaller than the original net that came in the original package. This was a waste of $250 and a disappoint not only to me but my 2 kids that were so excited about having their own cage in their backyard. ... show more

Could include more balls. It comes with 1. I ordered an additional dozen, however they were a different weight and caused different flight coming from the Heater Sports Sandlot.

Difficult to assemble. Not as big as the pic makes it look. It is, however, big enough for my 12u kid the hit in.

My boys (triplets) bought this in late March and have loved it! Their only complaint now is that the machine is too slow for them (they are about to turn 13 though, so we knew that might happen). They’ve used the net for soft tossing to each other, and the net has been put up and taken down multiple times (taken down for wild Midwest thunderstorms) and has held up great for all of that.
