I never actually made it to the playing stage with this violin so I can’t speak to sound quality. -The violin felt very light and came off as cheaply-made to me. -It arrived without its bridge in place and its strings sort of loosely in place/falling to the side of the neck so you can put the bridge in yourself. However there are no instructions, so you get to just figure it out using one photo in the Amazon listing as your best guess. -Then you get to try to tune the strings without having a clue what you’re doing, with the pegs slipping immediately with each attempt. (Turns out that’s normal, but you have to Google these things to figure out how to keep them from slipping, what each string should be tuned to, etc). For a beginner violin it’s not intuitive at all. I returned it because I had thought the slipping pegs were a sign of cheap junk. I’m still glad I returned it; I spent about 20 bucks more and got a much better product from a competitor that came with excellent instructions, its bridge in place, strings almost in tune, and bow pre-rosined. This manufacturer needs to improve their customer experience. Until they do you’re better off spending a bit more to have a lot less frustration/guesswork.

The instrument seems to be well made and looks well finished, and the sound quality is decent, though not high-end rich-- fully appropriate for a beginner. The issue is that the bridge does not come mounted, so you need to be able to face that task, then string and tension the strings. It was too much for my daughter and 5-yr old grandson to accomplish, and their local instrument shop proprietors were not very charitable to people who didn't buy the instrument from their shops. Daughter had to find a handyman to get this done. I don't get the seller's thinking, as the case (which is also decent) certainly holds the violin with the bridge and strings attached. I get that the strings should NOT be tensioned until the shipping is out of the way, but c'mon, Vetimobato, understand who you are selling to!!!

WOW! I am super impressed with the quality on this violin, especially for the price. I wasn’t really sure what to expect going in, but this ended up being way better than I thought it would be. The instrument feels solid in hand, not flimsy or toy-like, and the finish looks clean with no obvious flaws. For a beginner to intermediate setup, everything you need is included which is nice. The case, bow, shoulder rest, and extra strings make it easy to get started right away without having to buy a bunch of extras. The maple neck feels straight and smooth, and the fittings don’t feel cheap like some entry-level violins do. Sound-wise, it’s actually pretty decent once it’s tuned and played in a bit. Obviously it’s not a high-end concert violin, but for practice, lessons, or someone getting back into playing, it does the job really well. It holds tuning better than I expected too, which is usually my biggest complaint with beginner violins. Overall this feels like a very safe buy and a really reasonable price point for what you’re getting. Vetimobato clearly put some thought into this kit. If you’re shopping for a full-size violin and don’t want to overspend, this one is hard to beat. I’d definitely recommend it, and I’d buy it again.

This violin set is a fantastic all-in-one package for beginners and intermediate players. The linden plywood body with a maple neck produces a warm, pleasant tone. The set includes essential accessories like a bow, shoulder rest, bow rosin, and a bridge, which saves extra trips to the music store. However, be aware that some assembly and tuning skills are needed to set it up properly—it’s not fully prepped out of the box. The solid wood fittings and craftsmanship show good attention to detail. Comes with a sturdy case that’s great for transport and storage. A solid choice for those serious about learning the violin. Once set up, it does provide a clean note, and can be tuned easily.

Over all this violin came in good condition, and the bow was decent condition. There was one string that was out of place, but it was nothing to put back in and started tuning. The violin was sturdy and would definitely recommend this violin for a beginner. This instrument was bought in good condition, so I was not expecting a Stradivarius. But it surprised me of how well made it was and so far it has kept it's tune well. But I would suggest if you do buy this violin is that you may want to spend a few more bucks on a better bow. Overall a good buy if you are on a budget and or just getting started this would be one way to go.
