Purchased this heated bowl for my 23 year old cat that stopped drinking water over a year ago. I realized her teeth sensitivity to cold was preventing her from drinking even room temperature water. I started hand feed her water warmed from the kettle and boy did she drink! I unfortunately am not able to be at home boiling water for her constantly so this is great! The first bowl I ordered from another brand only made the water room temperature, which wasn’t warm enough for our cat. This bowl is awesome! Makes the water just warm enough to not be hot and not room temperature. The only downside is that it’s not offered in a smaller size. I understand it is a product made for dogs or outdoor animals that drink large amounts of water. Our cat doesn’t need much and the bowl collects dusts and bugs. We got a small inexpensive fish tank filter that fits just fine inside the bowl that takes care of the dust and bugs. Perfecto! She is back to drinking water! 🙌🏻

Unlike most heated bowls, this one doesn't freeze when the temperature is -20. It sits out in the open with no wind protection so it saved me from multiple trips outside in the recent artic freeze. (Use for cats & chickens)

Our heated water bowl of 15 years stopped working during subzero temperatures. None were to be found locally. I ordered this for our family of barn cats. It is a medium size bowl, that holds a days worth of water for 9 cats. The height is perfect for kittens as it’s not too tall. We often find one curled up in the bowl when we feed if they drink all of the water! So it keeps water warm, but not hot enough to burn.

The media could not be loaded. I love how simple it is to turn on and off without having to unplug it. It's deep and holds a lot of water. The power cord is heavy duty and chew proof. Would recommend this bowl. If you're looking for an amazing heated bowl you found it here.

The description states that this is a large heating pad. This pad is definitely not a large unless it is made for a small pet. The pad is thinner than expected as well. It takes several minutes to heat up, and the temperature is sort of like lukewarm water. It does not heat up to 140° on the highest setting (6.) I gave it the benefit of doubt and tried turning the unit off and on again. I also tried the other settings. It is warm but not as warm as most heating pads. It didn't come with an "extra storage bag" (no storage bag included) or strap as indicated in the description. The only bag I received was the plastic disposable bag it arrived in. Now, this does have a few pros. The heating pad is ultra soft, and I absolutely love the turquoise color. The charging cord is long enough to relax on the bed. The controls are straight forward and simple to utilize. It has a red LED light on each auto-shutoff setting, and it has an LED number screen to indicate the heat setting. UPDATE: The product description has changed since I wrote this review. My review was based on a small, blue, traditional type of heating pad.

The water stays at room temperature. I bought this bowl for my 14 yr old terrier, his teeth are sensitive to cold water. The problem with the bowl is that is makes a cherp noise after it has been on awhile. The noise scares my dog away. I'm not sure why it does that, but it does. To get around that issue I turn it off when my dog goes toward the bowl. Other than that it is the perfect shape and depth. Nice long secure power cord too.
