I love this house. I got the large and my cats a good 12lbs. It’s really easy to set up. Also very sturdy with insulation. It’s very warm and cozy. Plenty of room for a blanket and good bowl. For people who help feral cats, this is a lifesaver for the cold months! I initially bought two, and just ordered two more! It was very easy to put together (20 minutes each), and the directions were so easy to understand. The house is very tough on the outside, and cozy on the inside. There is a very soft cover to the heating pad which can be removed for washing! It heated quickly, but was not overwhelming! The price is a very good value and they are MUCH nicer and more effective than my homemade ones! I had two cats in each house, so there’s plenty of room.

Update: Dec 19 2023 First, I'm not sure why my video was not posted. I wanted to give some updates on this home. It was a hit with an elderly feral cat. She really liked staying there. Since she was incontinent I didn't use straw but put some soft fluffy covers and a urine pad. She really seemed to be comfortable in it before passing away. I noticed she did have trouble opening the flap so I would help her with it. I'm trying to get another feral cat that visits to use it. He has been going in but doesn't stay a long time, maybe about an hour or so. He's really nervous and wont go in if the flap is down so I have to leave it open. Since I don't have an electrical connection outside I've been using straw as an alternative to a heating pad. I also have the kitty tube from another brand which is definitely much nicer, got it with double insulation but it was around 200 dollars plus. The clawsable is nice if you have several cats that need shelter or are on a budget. 60 dollars is much more consumer friendly. It's also much easier to clean than the kitty tube as the insulation from the kitty tube seems to be absorbing cat urine. With the clawsable house I just disinfect it with wipes, can probably was it as well but haven't tried that, only the wipes. I bought this house for a feral cat outside. The house is insulated and feels sturdy. I bought the version without the heating pad after reading many reviews that the heating pad doesn't turn off when the cat is away. I forgot to mention in the video, that although the heating pad was not ordered, a soft heating pad cover was sent. It's very soft and nice. The house does feel water resistant but I will keep it under a covered porch. The little door entrance has a zipper. I'm trying to figure out if the door entrance will be a problem if I keep the door down. I will update once I try it since I don't think it's as easy to move for a cat. I'm hoping this house will keep the cat warm.

This was quite easy to assemble. The Velcro on it was surprisingly strong. The house itself is quite sturdy and seems quite nice for the price. Right now I’ve got the door folded up and putting a small bowl of tuna in it to hopefully get the stray I’ve been caring use to going into it. Yesterday I could not feel any heat coming from the heating pad. This morning there was some ice on his water bowl, the nights are getting colder. When I checked the heating pad it was slightly warm. I wish it would get warmer but some heat is better than no heat.

Received package on time and in perfect condition. Instructions are very clear and took about 10 minutes to put together. There are 3 sets of poles 4 in each set. Separate each section of poles to help figure out which set is A B and C. Once you do that it’s all simple as just connected the fiberglass poles. They’re sturdy but also light weight. The outter shell reminds me of a insulated lunch box. Very thick and very well insulated. The heated insert is also very well made with a cord that comes with a coiled outter shell. Very heavy duty. An added bonus is the heated pad has a very soft cover on top of it. The door flap has a piece of Velcro where the door can be held open.. if you don’t connect the Velcro to the top the door will act as a swing. The cat will just push it open and closed. I think you’ll be more than satisfied with this purchase.

While I've only been using this shelter for a week, so far it has done an excellent job of providing a warm, dry place for a very old barn cat. She took to it immediately, seems to feel very happy and secure in it - although she doesn't like the door flap hanging all the way down as she likes to look out. I folded the door flap in half and secured it with a clip as a compromise. I hope the heating pad is as durably built as the shelter. I'm really very pleased with this purchase.
