The media could not be loaded. Not that it matters in the pandemic world of everything being closed and nothing to do, but winter is coming to the NE and with my last class under my belt and the youngest 2 in school (FINALLY!), I actually have some time for myself and being able to learn a skill I've been wanting to for absolutely forever. Especially when I spend 20 bucks a shirt for the kiddos because I really like the design even though I know it's on a 3 buck shirt I can pick up at Wally world. First of all, the packaging is absolutely phenomenal. How do I know this? When I first got it I put the box aside in the spare room and a day later found my toddlers JUMPING ON TOP OF IT. Not a single thing in it was so much as dented. Point to the packaging and the solid quality of the heat press itself. Secondly, after pulling everything out, it is easy to see what hooks up to where and which pieces are what even without opening the instruction booklet. The fact the temp/time control unit slides on to and sits on the pole handle of the main unit makes it easy to monitor everything. To set temp and time, you literally just have to hit the set button and then use the arrows to adjust the temp up and down. Hitting SET again lets you adjust the time. When you turn on the unit, you watch it heat up very quickly to the desired temp (either celsius or farenheit). When the arm is pressed down and locked, the timer starts a count down and has an alarm to let you know when it hits zero. Even better, there was 4 designs on ink heat transfer paper included. I grabbed a garden work shirt just to see if they were able to be used, and voila! I now have a capt America shirt for working outside. lol. Even better (because I was curious), I used the recommended settings for temp and time and was actually able to use the paper a second time to press the design on the back of the shirt with the same color consistency and depth. Seriously, this was set/press/go easy for me to do shirts. I bought a book to learn how to do some more advanced stuff with my cricut Maker and am so excited to learn the different temp and time settings for insulated mugs, coffee cups, and some baseball caps for my oldest. There was no weird smells, the unit only got hot where it was supposed to, and being able to swing the top of the press up and out of the way makes for less chance of little wandering hands (or even mine, honestly) to burn themselves. For the price, this machine was absolutely phenomenal and capable of so many projects for me!! ... show more

This heat press is awesome and so easy to use. It has so many easy to use features. You can do pretty much anything with it. It is 12x15 so making T shirts easy. It also comes with the attachments for doing mugs and hats which is super cool. It has a 360 degrees swivel design which is safer and easier to maneuver. The LED display shows the temperature. You can adjust the temperature between 32-450℉ which is a very wide range. This heat press is very good price and value overall. Very pleased and definately recommend ... show more

Easy to put together however, the instructions are lacking on how to use it. I had to get information on YouTube on how to actually operate it. Once I watched a video, found it very easy to use.

I am new to a press like this, but I did a lot of research before I purchased it. I was using a Cricut Press before this and there is a BIG difference. I love that I can set my temp and time and work on other things. Now that I have been using it for a while, I wish I would have bought a bigger machine. The reason for that is if you have a big design (longer or wider than the plate), you have to move your shirt up or sideways as you go. Of course, I don't expect it to be better than, say, a $600 machine, but it works for me and what I do. As for shipping, it came two weeks before my expected delivery date, so that was a pleasant surprise. ... show more

    • The main press works like a dream and I use it on a daily since I got it........
I have used this heat press on a daily since I got it back in May I want to say. How ever I used the mug press once worked like a dream but after pressing one mug it started to smoke. I had the setting as to what the manufacture subjected I turned it off and let it sit for a few days. I just tried it again and the mug press doesn't even get worm. the operation box says its at temp but I can place my whole arm into the press and its cold. this sucks I really need this part to work right now ggggg ... show more

This product works great and I haven’t had any issues. I did a ton of research and went back and forth between a bunch of different brands before deciding to go with the DreamVan brand. This heat press is a champ for DIY projects. I would say though that I don’t think it would hold up to the task of running 24/7 for a business but it is great starter heat press. ... show more
