To be honest, had I not let the return date pass I would return it primarily because it doesn't maintain the temperature well. In addition, it's harder to unlock when I'm done pressing and the pullout tray often gets stuck. I plan on giving it to my niece because she's just starting out and could use a free press. Clamshell is space saver, but it also gives off a lot of heat towards your body. I get really hot when I'm using it so I may switch back to a swing.

This heat press heats evenly and I love it so much. The color is stunning. I love the lavender. It's so unexpected. Works well to use for pressing DTF, Seamless, Subs, and all the like.

So far, I am happy with heat press. I am not happy with how much I paid for it - $189 when the current price is $146.99 with a $20 coupon available. I am taking a star away for that. I had never used a heat press before. The one I received didn’t come with any instructions, so I just used the temps and times provided with the HTV I used and was able to easily figure out how it worked. It came with a mesh-like screen that I assumed was supposed to be like the Teflon sheet or parchment paper people use, and it worked just fine for that purpose. I’m super excited for future projects. Without being able to see how it works over the long term, as it stands right now, I could comfortably recommend this at the price I see right now, which is $146 minus the $20 coupon. I could not at the price I paid ($189) because at that price I expect accessories.

This is actually my very first heat press machine. I do a bunch of crafts and have the latest Cricut Maker 3 and definitely want to put it into more use. That was actually going to be my next endeavor with the Cricut to start heat pressing my designs, mostly on shirts and tote bags. As a beginner, it seems super simple to use but I definitely have been watching tutorials to perfect the craft. I have had a few trials and errors, which is okay and expected to happen during this learning curve. As far as the machine, I think it looks very appealing. I really like the glossy very light pastel purple color. I will say the machine is BIG, a lot bigger than I expected. That is actually one issue that I am running into is how to store the machine when it's not in use. It is on the heavier side which makes it difficult to move it around. I haven't figured out a real solution, but I will say something like this definitely needs its own workstation. I wouldn't recommend getting this if you live in a small apartment because it does take up a good amount of space. I am considering getting a simple desk dedicated to my entire craft area and properly storing my machine in one place. In my opinion, this definitely seems like a great hobby machine where you can make small personal projects for family and friends until you get the hang of it before upgrading to a more industrial machine if you are looking into getting a heat press to start a business. Also, before you start, I just want to point out that you will need some additional supplies for example heat press transfer sheets. Overall, I think this machine is absolutely great for beginners and I would highly recommend trying it out.
