Despite all of the "cheapness" of this whole package, I'm very much enjoying it. First off, this price point is what you would pay for an elite strap without a battery pack built in. I had a Kiwi elite strap before this and while this one definitely feels cheaper, I actually prefer this one. The strap sits lower on the back of my head so it cradles it better. On top of that, the weight of the battery evens out the pressure on my face. After an hour play session, I didn't get any of the discomfort I did previously. And on top of that, my battery was still at 100%.

Only 4 stars due to product breaking, but 5 Stars to the Asurion Protection Plan folks, they were great! The head strap broke when my son went to adjust it. I purchased the $7 - 3 Year protection plan. Filed the claim and uploaded a few pictures. They accepted my claim within 2 days, and sent me a shipping label. I received my refund the day after I mailed the product back. The process was super easy!

*bought on the 9th, today is the 22nd* So, I would have given this 5 stars. The battery does give a full 6hrs (if not more) of extra play time. It's not overly heavy on your head/neck, and the charge time (if timmed well) can take place while you're sleeping. The adjustability of the harness is great. It has a wide range of sizes. So big or small, you'll find a comfortable fit. It's easy to operate. Simply slide it on and adjust it using the back dial. Easy-peezy. Charging is pretty straightforward. I have 2 charges so I charge both the battery pack and VR at the same time but separately using two cords. You can solo charge the pack, but this was just faster (and in my mind, less strain on the battery pack by not having to charge the VR aswell. But that's just my personal thoughts and I could be completely wrong) Sadly, mine snapped after about 2 weeks from ordering ( I think it took about 4-5 days to arrive) But! - I liked it so much that if I could have duct tapped it, I would have! π€£ But where the break happened, there is just no way to fix it. The plastic isn't very flexible, and you'd think it should have to be in this area. Might be a design flaw, might be a faulty strap, donno. However, I'm going for the replacement instead of the refund. The item itself is wonderful, and I hope this was just a lazy piece of plastic lol. I will update this after the new one is tried and used. Hopefully I can change this to 5 stars. π ATM; Battery - 5 stars. 6-8 hrs added playtime (8-10 w/VR battery) Head cradle - 5 stars for comfort and sizing. Plastic securing straps/harness - 0 (thick rubber or silicone may work better, or something with more flex). Charge time - 3.5 stars (about 3+ hrs for full Pack & VR charge). All-in-all, if the replacement doesn't repeat this issue I will DEFINITELY be recommending this to all VR users and giving it a 5 star, hands down. π

Bought this for my daughter's birthday and the arm connector is completely broken off going to have to send back Editing to 3βοΈ because they did send a replacement in a quickly manner and are issuing a refund for the inconvenience. Tje replacement arrived in great condition and does work. I do have to send the broken one back,however waiting for the influx of people to leave town due to eclipse so I don't have to deal with all of the traffic.
