I bought this replacement battery a couple months ago, so far it's performed beyond my expectations. The install was pretty straight forward, I recommend watching a few online videos before beginning. Breaking the seal on the watch was not easy, I bent the tool prying the back off the watch, don't be suprised if this happens. I felt like I was missing something during reassembly, the battery basically sits in the watch, it's not really affixed to anything... this took me a few minutes to get my mind around. As far as battery life, a full charge lasts me about 4 days, with about 20% charge remaining. Much better than the OEM battery. I was pleased with the overall quality of the kit and ease of replacement. If you're a person with a normal amount of mechanical aptitude, the replacement shouldn't pose any significant concerns. ... show more

    • Worth the price
I'm pleased that it only took 15 mins to replace. I followed the instructions and they were good. My battery now last 1.5 days for me. much better than the 4 hrs I was getting.

    • Great battery, poor tools for beginners.
So far, this seems like a great product. I replaced my Gear S3 battery about 4 months ago using this, since my Gear couldn’t stay on for more than an hour or two without dying. The installation was a bit difficult because my Gear is old and taking the back case off the watch was pretty stuck. These tools aren’t the best for hard installations, and they ended up scratching my watch a bit, but I blame that on user error, since I’m nowhere near an expert. Otherwise, I just followed a YouTube video to walk myself through the installation, and if you’re patient and systematic, it’s quite easy. It worked the first time for me and the watch turned right back on. With the new battery, the battery life of the watch is as good as when it was new. ... show more

Screwdrivers heads broke and just strip out screws heads and now watch is worthless. Could not get back off to change battery to see how it works.     • Great battery replacement kit!!!
This is an awesome kit. It comes with everything you need to replace the battery in your galaxy gear s3. I bought this because my battery would only last 15 minutes and after replacement with this battery is back to the normal 1-2 days. Instructions are good, but just don't use the metal tool to get the back of the watch of as the instructions state. This will severely scratch the back of your watch. With a little finesse you can use the pointy black plastic tool provided to pop it off safely as I did. Also, when you remove the back it will break the water seal as the instructions state, but you can use a very small bead of clear silicone or clear RTV 4500 sealant to create the seal again. ... show more

    • The watch doesn't power up
It's not so much the product as it is my inability to reconnect super miniaturized harnesses that are not engineered for a novice to reconnect. I'm sure the fault lies with me but it was a Gamble that didn't pay out. I want up buying another used smartwatch. Strange thing is that the screen comes on and tells me how charged the battery is when it's on the charger but the watch itself does not power up ... show more

About a year ago, I bought my brother-in-laws S3 Frontier. He had said he just had the battery replaced but under normal use, I found the battery barely making it through the day. After watching a YouTube video, I found a battery swap to be within my skillet. Bought this battery, install was about 15 mins and painless. I was impressed the first day, only losing about 20% thru a full day of wear. Excellent battery life. I cant attest to how itll hold up a few months from now but as it stands, I'm surprisingly more happy with this battery than I ever had expected. Well worth the $13 bucks.
