Love it with one key...

UPDATE: 4/25/2024 It's been a couple of weeks and we still like this foam topper but we recently added a padded mattress cover and love it even more! The two combined are giving us the best night's sleep. I tried another topper before and it was too hard but it was also 3 or 4 inches. I'm thinking the best is to get 2 inch topper plus a padded mattress cover. I think that is the key to fixing a firm mattress. Hope this helps! ORIGINAL REVIEW: 4/12/2024 This came very well packaged and expanded quickly but I waited 5 days before using because I wanted to make sure that it fully expanded first. We've only used it a couple of nights but we love it so far. We have an expensive and great quality mattress that is only 3 years old. It's still comfortable when we lay in it but when we wake up we wake up in pain. Our backs are stiff and hurt. Sometimes it's so bad it hurts to wake up. So we decided we needed a topper. We tried a firm one and that was bad. So now tried a soft one and it's working out perfect. No more pain or stiffness when we wake up. I will update my review if it ever changes. Comfortable with Some Odor

The topper is greatly compressed for shipping in a vacuum bag. It's amazing the little space it occupied for shipment. After opening it'll take about an hour or more to let it relax and gain its final form (like Gozer from Ghostbusters). The foam is supportive as you'd expect. The only negative to mention is the odor of the foam. It has an almost burn-popcorn smell. It is not strong and appears to be dissipating with time. If you're sensitive to this, I'd suggest releasing the pad and let it sit for a week before pitting it into the bed. ... show more

I have a Lucid mattress, and recently had a different 4" mattress pad on it but had to remove it because although very comfortable, it would move all over the place and was super annoying. The first night without it, I woke up with excruciating back pain and knew I would need another mattress pad. This one is great! It's not too tall (4" was just too much), it doesn't move on the bed and stays in place, and more importantly, my back pain was gone the first night I slept on it! The pad came compressed and had a chemical smell, so I let it decompress and air out for a day in the spare room. 2 days probably would have been better, smell-wise for those that are sensitive, but I wasn't going one more day on the bed without it! I've had it for a few weeks now and it still feels great. I don't know that I get any cooling from it since I'm a cold sleeper anyways and don't sweat when I sleep, but I'm just grateful to not wake up in pain anymore. ... show more

Helping my kid's back pain

I have an adult child who spends their day making people feel better as a massage therapist, of all things. They love their work but it is taking a toll on their back. They were going to replace their mattress (which wasn't that old) but I got them this topper instead. I hope they continue to feel as positively as they do about this topper now. The ridges in the topper help cradle all the curves of their back, and facilitate air flow. They are telling me that it's made a world of difference in their back pain. Perfect Size, Amazing Night Sleep-Helps With My Back, Good Quality & Value..

Soon as I took this out of the box, I knew it was going to be soft. I let it sit and air out, then after it was nice and plumped back up, I put it on top of our bed. It fits perfect, it's perfect in size. The material is so thick and plush but also soft, light and pillowy. It gives an exceptional amount of support while still maintaining it’s cloud like coziness. I have been sleeping noticeably better since putting it on. I usually toss and turn all night long, so I know this has made a huge difference in the quality of my sleep. I am so much more comfortable now. The material is very good quality, sturdy and durable. This topper is a great value for the price and definitely worth it. Super comfy. Accurate size. There is not much of a chemical smell as I have encountered with other brands. There was a faint smell when I opened bag, but then it was gone. This is natural in the processing of any mattress. This measured 2" (thickness) as advertised. Just let it sit, after opening, for a few hours and it decompresses to full size. I have bought other mattress toppers from different manufacturer that stated X" (inches) thick, that ended up a full inch less than advertised. Not this one. It is as advertised. Fits perfectly on my bed. Like sleeping on a cloud. My only complaint: I had to set a second alarm clock, because I didn't want to get out of bed. ... show more
