I use this for my work computer. It covers most of my work space with ease. I no longer have to worry about the mouse running off the mouse pad because the entire Mat is a mouse pad. The set-up is practically non-existent. All I had to do was unroll it and plug the cord into the power box on the pad and into the computer. The pad works immediately. I don't know if it came with instructions on how to adjust the lights but that is just intuitive. You just press the button on the box on the pad and the changes. Pick the settings and they are set, coming back exactly the way you left it when you turn the computer off. I specifically love the rainbows that slowly roll around the edge of the mat. It creates an very cheerful, peaceful atmosphere to work in. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a mouse pad or gaming mat.

I used to use a standard cloth mouse pad from Razer, called the Razer Goliathus. But they don't make them in that style anymore, they upgraded it. Frankly, I was tired of the mouse surface getting so incrusted with dust, the movement started getting rough, and the pad surface was wearing away. I can't believe how much big name brands like to charge for a mouse pad just like this one! As soon as I plugged this mouse pad in, I immediately fell in love with it. What I love most about the LED system, is you don't have to install drivers like on some other brands, in order to change the colors. Its all hardware based, each time you press the button on the top unit, it changes the color, or animation mode. The LED's are bright but not too bright, although some might differ, as it all depends on personal preference. I apologize for not taking the best pictures, I didn't feel like setting up my tripod. The top surface of the mouse pad is cloth, and its the softest cloth I have ever felt on a mouse pad, in my life! My Razer Deathadder Elite mouse just glides over it so smoothly, I love it! The bottom of the mouse pad is rubber, it prevents the pad from moving around. The mouse pad is 13.2" wide by 9" tall. For this price, I can't recommend this mouse pad enough! If your in the market for a new mouse pad, for gaming, or anything else honestly, this is the one to go with. 5 out of 5 stars!

Very good and easy to use, also looks really nice! However, it is sad that you can't *easily* hack the LEDs to be customized. Possibly add a software to customize the lights because that would make it more enjoyable and interactive. Great product though!

He’s a gamer, so every holiday, anniversary, or occasion I get him one thing for his office. He absolutely loves this more than any other one he’s had. Will buy again if needed but it’s really great quality.

Well, it's a mouse pad, there really isn't anything else to it. It's large so you aren't going to go over the edge with your mouse and it can be plugged into any USB port anywhere out of the way and it will light up, doesn't have to be on the computer itself. It doesn't, however, grip the desk very well. I do have to adjust it every so often but that's not particularly annoying. I'd rather spend $14 on a mouse pad than $50 for a pad that does the same exact thing except it's programmable.
