I ordered four of these during Prime Days because they looked nice and the size was right for the knee wall in our upstairs hallway. They were easy to put together without the instructions, since they were in another language. It took about fifteen to twenty minutes each shelf. They look nice together and are able to hold the books that I own no problem. The color of the shelves is consistent on each set that we purchased. Fir those who are complaining that it isn't wood, if you read the description you would have known that it was MDF not actual wood shelves. The price was worth it, the shelves are very sturdy and do not sway or rock with the weight I have on them with the books. I would purchase them again if I run out of space. ... show more

Very nice shelf. Looks good, even better in person than on the website. The boards are thick and look good. The black metal frame is very sturdy and strong. Assembly was fairly easy. We bought this primarily as a storage shelf but wanted it to look attractive in home office space. The assembly was easy with only the tools provided. The bookcases were very easy to assemble. The "wood" shelves don't appear to be real wood; they are pretty lightweight, but from a distance they do look like wood.
