This is so easy to use and does a great job. 4 years later, we still love our pool vacuum. Not sure why all the poor reviews. Although, Some of the parts are wearing and Hayward has no replacement parts. My husband has been able to fix a few parts. But I see a new pool vacuum in our near future.

    • Was a pain to use
I used this on my oval above the ground pool and it was not potent enough to move it off the wall. I tried adjusting the front and back scoops. Kept getting stuck. Did not work for me.

The battery doesn't seem to last. It worked great on our old pool, which was a smaller pool. Unfortunately, it broke, and we bought a new, much larger pool. And this little fellow doesn't seem to have the stamina for the bigger pool. It runs slower in it and does not pick up as well. I can't really remember if it is designed to handle a 27 foot pool or not. But, I have to clean it even when it's not full and charge it more often. ... show more

Arrived super quick, bought this item in the US at a considerable difference in price from Amazon.ca so saved a ton of money… from the YouTube reviews this unit will work well on my 30x15 unfortunately my pool is closed up for winter as I live in Canada, but for just over $200 bucks I’m not worried. Note for shipper, put a name on the package as it was delivered to a townhouse house complex with no name, it nearly got returned, I only just managed to catch it as it arrived. ... show more

We bought this vacuum for our 18x33 oval above ground pool, and the first year 'Sebastian' did a fantastic job. This summer it won't hold a charge, and I can't find a replacement charging cable or battery anywhere. I've tried contacting their authorized sellers, but no one will respond. How utterly disappointing from a well known company such as Hayward. And especially unfortunate because there doesn't seem to be anything else like this on the market. ... show more

We have a 21’ round above ground pool and this robot does an excellent job cleaning the bottom. Easy to understand instructions and the battery life is great too.would highly recommend
