The light is pretty bright in a dark room anytime there is movement. Other than that they work fine. You will have to buy the subscription to benefit from them.

I initially installed this indoor security camera to keep an eye on active pet areas, and for the first couple of weeks, it actually worked quite well. The dual-band Wi-Fi connected easily, the 360-degree pan-and-tilt swept the room smoothly, and the two-way audio was clear. However, the long-term reliability turned out to be a major letdown. After roughly two weeks of normal use, the unit completely stopped working and will no longer power on at all. It was placed in a completely safe, protected indoor spot, so weather or physical damage wasn't a factor—the internal power component simply failed. It’s a shame because the features were solid while it lasted, but I can't give it more than 3 stars when it completely died after such a short time.

This plug in WiFi security camera showed up acting like it had something to prove. I plugged it in, and before I could even finish straightening the cord, it spun around like it was doing a dramatic “scene sweep” in an action movie. The 360° pan tilt isn’t just a feature, it’s a whole personality. It moves with the confidence of a mall cop who finally got promoted to “indoor surveillance specialist.” The dual band WiFi is a blessing because this thing connects instantly. No drama, no waiting, no “reconnecting…” nonsense. It hops on the network faster than I do when someone says there’s leftover pizza in the break room. Once it’s online, it stays online, watching everything like it’s guarding the crown jewels instead of my living room. Color night vision is honestly impressive. It caught me wandering around at 2 AM looking like a confused raccoon searching for snacks. The detail is so clear that I had to question whether I really needed a camera that could see me in HD while I’m half asleep and wearing mismatched socks. But hey, if anything ever actually happens at night, this little guy will see it in full color instead of that spooky black and white ghost footage style. Two way audio is surprisingly crisp. I used it to yell at my cat when she started plotting her usual shelf climbing crimes. She looked around like the voice of God had spoken directly to her. It’s also great for telling delivery drivers “thank you!” or scaring your partner when they forget you installed a camera and suddenly hear your voice coming from the corner of the room. Motion detection is… enthusiastic. It alerts me when a shadow moves, when a dust particle drifts by, or when the air decides to wiggle. But honestly, I’d rather have a camera that’s a little dramatic than one that’s asleep on the job. At least I know it’s paying attention, maybe too much attention, but attention, nonetheless. Overall, this camera is a tiny, plugged in security guard that never clocks out, never blinks, and absolutely judges your midnight snack habits. It’s reliable, fast, and a little bit noisy, but in the best possible way. If you want a camera that works hard and acts like it’s protecting a top secret facility instead of your living room, this one fits the role perfectly.

I had mixed feelings about this security camera. The product listing advertised a 2-pack, but I only received one camera in my package. Once I got it set up, the camera itself performed well. The image quality is clear, and the 360° pan-and-tilt feature covers a surprisingly large area for such a compact device. If you can place it in a good central location, it does a great job monitoring an entire room without leaving many blind spots. The biggest drawback is the power setup. The camera uses a USB-C connection and includes a USB-A cable, but no wall power adapter is provided. The included cable is also only a few feet long. Since indoor security cameras are usually mounted high on a wall or near the ceiling, you'll likely need to supply your own USB power adapter and may even need a longer cable, depending on where your nearest outlet is located. Installation is also a little more involved than expected. It mounts using a bracket with two screws, and you also need to account for the two external antennas when choosing a location. It's certainly manageable, but not quite as simple as placing the camera on a shelf. That said, once everything is installed, the camera works reliably. The pan-and-tilt function is smooth, the video quality is good, and the compact design helps it blend into the room.

I recently set up this Hawkray Indoor Home Security Camera to test out for keeping an eye on things at a property while away. It plugs in easily, connects to both 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi, and the 360° pan and tilt let me check every corner of the room. The color night vision is clear, and the two way audio makes it easy to talk to anyone around the camera that it picks up using motion detection. It doesn’t support ONVIF, which is a disappointment, but it supports writing to an SD Card or subscription service for straightforward home use recording. It has a quality feel to it, but only time will tell. The quality is decent at 1080p with the adjustability of Pan and Tilt controls. It is a handy little camera at an incredible price point for people on a budget.

Full transparency: I am obsessed with security, and I do already have 10 cameras outdoors and indoors, on one network, but looking to expand. When it comes to home security, I don't need flashy promises - I need a camera that actually does what it claims. This one does exactly that. Setup was straightforward, and once connected, everything worked as advertised. The dual-band WiFi support provided a reliable connection, and the app made it easy to access the camera and adjust settings. From there, it was simply a matter of letting it do its job. This factor is what truly impressed me: The 360° pan and tilt capability offers excellent coverage, allowing me to monitor an entire room without needing multiple cameras. My other cameras do not move - they don't pan and tilt. I need pan and tilt! The picture quality is sharp during the day, and the color night vision provides clear visibility after dark, making it easy to see what's happening at any hour. Motion detection alerts arrived promptly, giving me confidence that I wouldn't miss important activity, while the two-way audio is clear enough for quick conversations or simply letting someone know you're watching.
