This works 100% how it is supposed too. It definitely helps cut back on waiting for my hot peel transfers to cool down. I have not tried it has a cool down for cups, but it would absolutely do a great job at that too.

This cooling block has been a useful addition to my sublimation and vinyl projects. It cools down tumblers, mugs, and glass cups much faster after pressing, which saves time and helps transfers set more cleanly. For T-shirts and HTV, it works well to press down the vinyl while quickly pulling away heat. The block is a good size, easy to handle, and the smooth surface doesn’t scratch materials. It feels durable and solid, so it should hold up with repeated use. If you do a lot of heat press work, this is a simple accessory that makes the process faster and more consistent.

Lets face it , time is money but precious more than anything… The item looks amazing, very cool vibe! A thick dark blue- Arctic 🥶 would be a great choice of words! It’s like an oversized coaster, actually molded with an inset a tumbler or cup can be placed conveniently About 3/8” inset The material does help cool down material , to be cool peeled The surface is glassy and smooth surface The design is practical for some applications I did deduct 1 and 1 of a total of 2 Reasons- cost is hefty for actual use and size, larger is more practical- this is more for a patch not even for 6” image… gets warm after one large image of a large piece.. Exactly what I was looking for. I press a lot of logos on shirts, and this 2-in-1 cooling block has been an absolute game changer. It cools fabric quickly and evenly, is well made, and fits perfectly for pressing projects. I’ve seen other cooling blocks that were more expensive and only meant for shirts, so this one is a great value. The HAWERSI 2-in-1 HTV Cooling Block has quickly become a regular part of my heat press workflow. It’s well thought out for both flat fabric projects and drinkware sublimation, saving time between pressing and handling. Flat Side – Perfect for t-shirts, pillowcases, and other fabric projects. The polished surface sits flush against the material and wicks away heat efficiently, making peel steps much smoother. Cup Cooling Side – The recessed holes fit most standard mugs, tumblers, bottles, and glass cups. Adding a little ice water (as suggested) noticeably speeds up the cooling process, especially with stainless steel drinkware. Made from a dense, natural heat-absorbing material, the block feels durable and substantial in hand. The surface finish is smooth, with no rough spots that could snag fabric. It’s heavy enough to stay in place on the table but still easy to move between projects. These cooling blocks make such a difference when you are working on sublimation projects and want to cook things down quickly and safely.
