You get what you are paying for, that said. these work very well on softer material but did dull rapidly on harder wood. they do however resharpen well. this is a really good starter set to learn both turning wood and how to properley sharpen your tools. while my next purchase will be a higher quality, for the price this is a very good set ... show more
