Not only does it provide one way privacy, but also Sun UV blocking, which I am told helps protect plastic shelving. Put this on windows in a shop building and sometimes get a mirror affect inside the shop during the day. Guessing the shop lights are brighter than outside. Serves it purpose.

I have used other brands. I DO NOT LIKE THIS BRAND. I Only bought this because the brand I normally purchase was out of stock. I didn't realize the difference in material. The other brand was made of vinyl (I strongly suggest you look for a product made with that) this is made with something else, look at the product descripton. This is thin, and there is an adhesive on it that makes it difficult to install smoothly, no matter how much water you use. I thought the window I had done was good. The next day I could see warping, air bubbles and wrinkles. I had spent 2 hrs Smoothing it out! It never took that much time with the vinyl brands. Removing it was hard. It rip into pieces. The vinyl product, I had removed from one window and reused it on another window. I'm tossing what I haven't used. Because I'm passed my 30 days for refund. Luckily , it's been long enough, my vinyl product is back in stocks! Yay! I don't recommend this product.

We have a front bathroom that faces the road. Although it is a small half window, we can still see out of the window while using the bathroom or getting out of the shower. If we can see out, I’m sure most people can see in. So we found this light. Transparent cling to fit inside of our window. This was so easy to install. I actually enjoyed installing it. It has a slight sticky back that will help. Keep it in place. All you need is a little water. I haven’t needed to take it off, but I’m sure it will just peel off when I’m ready. Light is able to get through. It makes a rainbow life design on our floor. I purchased another style and placed it on my garage windows. I might go around my house and see where else I can place it!

Very easy to install. I used copy paper for size. Just tape the paper over the window, continue until the entire window is covered. Tape paper together as you go along. There's your pattern. I did not over lap and cut in place. Wasteful and easier to make a pattern.I used my quilt cutting board for cutting straight lines. Box cutter to cut. Put tape on the corner of the smooth side, pulled, backing came off really easy. After cleaning the window spray the window and smooth side of covering with water. I used my grocery store savings card to smooth out the bubbles. Not much color even in direct sun but soooo pretty. I'd love to put on all my windows. Makes me smile. The red thing in the photo is my red outdoor umbrella. You can also see the grass in my yard. I still think there will be enough privacy.
