No assembly instructions, so: Underneath the three bars that are located in the dense foam, there's a tool to use for assembly - it's tucked in there pretty secure so might need some help to come out. Using this tool, remove the 4 screw-in bolts from the bottom of the item that looks like a small armchair cushion (It's called a heat press base.); use caution as the single metal plate that is being held on there will come unattached as you do this. Then find the two matching, roughly 4" x 2" metal plates with multiple cutouts and use those same four screw-in bolts to secure those two matching plates in the holes that you just removed them from - do keep that first single metal plate in place so that it is also secured in place; the matching metal plates' end pieces will face inwards on the single metal plate from the first instruction. Then take the last metal bar and screw in in between the two matching metal plates, placing one end in one of the matching bars' holes, with the bolt head facing outwards, and then screw the other end of the last metal bar into the other matching metal plate...using the hole that lines up with the unusual shape of the last metal bar; so you're using one matching plate's upper hole and one matching plate's lower hole. Then flip it over. If all is well, the bottom of the "legs" (the two matching metal plates) should be pointing outwards. Okay, now, the actual item. Heat press worked well for me. It was the first one that I've used that is an actual hat heat press, and I used it to put an adhesive patch onto a visor. Everything went well, the accessories included were useful, and my finished project is good enough to gift. Very happy with this and do recommend. (If you're a newbie, do take the time to watch a couple of online videos - it's so helpful to see how other people work and note the mistakes that the more experienced can warn us of.)

I'm reviewing "Hat Heat Press, Portable Hat Press with 6.3"x3.3" Ceramic-Coated Curved Heating Plate, Safety Base&Auto-Off,3-Level Hat Press Heat Machine for Cap Settings for Sublimation, HTV, DTF, Infusible Ink Project" which I received via the VINE program. I'm not a fan of the power button. It's not a button that you feel depress, it's touch sensitive but hard so it's counterintuitive. It requires a long touch to turn on and off as well as to move through the three temperature settings. I also has a 10 minute auto shutoff. When using it, to apply pressure, I held both of my hands on the handle and in doing so, turned it off mid press. I suppose I have to hold my hands differently, I just held them like I do my other heat presses. This is my first hat heat press, but with the touch sensitivity just placing a hand on the on/off button for 3 seconds will turn it off when on the highest setting or increase the heat if on a lower setting. Be aware. Other than that, it did press well. I assembled the base, which was fairly easy using the included wrench and it did a good job at adhering my HTV to the hat surface. I can also see using this to apply something to a sleeve/shoulder or any surface really. It works well on hats but can be used on anything. I'm still not a fan of the power button, but that won't stop me from using it.

This hat heat press works just as well as my name brand presses, if not better. It has 3 heat settings and fits most hats perfectly. It heats evenly too! I like that it will automatically power off after 10 minutes, if I'm not pressing too many hats. If I happen to get distracted, I don't have to worry about it burning my home down. This comes with a support stand-for the hats- and a base for when the press is not in use. This is small and compact and can be easily carried where ever you may need to bring it. It doesn't take long for it to heat up or cool down. I would order again if I had to.

This hat heats evenly and quickly. It is curved so it fits the brim of the hat nicely. It has three heat settings so you can get a good adhesion with different materials. It is non-stick coated on the bottom of the heat press. It’s easy inconvenient and performs very well.. It is made of a heavy duty. Plastic is easy to just wipe and clean. It is priced appropriately for the quality of this appliance.

I will be returning this item and ordering the HRVRONT one. The shape of the base does not form fit the hats. Part of it crinkles and folds in so the whole design does not get transferred. I am very displeased.

This hat heat press is the perfect size, shape, and heat settings for making quality designed caps with heat transfer vinyl. I have a large heat press that has an attachment for hats, but it cumbersome to change over the attachments. This press is easy to heat and use and quickly tuck away until next time. Doesn't take up a large footprint in my craft space. High quality craftsmanship. This tool seems sturdy and well-made. Seems like it will last a long time with proper care and use. Not for commercial use, obviously, but great for the home-hobbyist. Reasonable price. Quick shipping and delivery and no damage in shipping. I highly recommend.

I like the compact size of this cap heat press. The heat press has three different temperature settings and heats up fairly quickly. It will automatically shut off after ten minutes of nonuse. The base fits well in most caps. It also comes with a protective glove, positioning tape, and a heat resistance holder.
