Alignment between top and bottom plate not parallel and there is no adjustment. Had to add shim to fix. Wasted a few hats over burning on top but not sticking patches on the bottom. I would not purchase.

I had previously been pressing hats with a small handheld heat press and this makes the job so much easier. Very easy to set up and control. Would highly recommend to anyone who presses hats.

    • This will leave a dark line in the center of a ball cap on top of the front center seam.

The press seems fine with this one exception. I really think this is an engineering problem that will show up in the middle of all baseball hats you want to press a patch to the front of. What the manufacturer needs to do is leave a gap in the center of the heat platen for the center stitched seam. Without this gap there is too much pressure from the hats seem which causes the patch to be overcooked and discolored. If this problem is resolved I would give this press higher rating, but at this point I can not recommend it. ... show more

This thing is trash… Every hat I have tried to use with this machine gets creased, the iron never sits evenly across the vinyl. Causing the vinyl to shift weirdly… In attempt to correct that, you have to shove a towel, or extra silicone under the hat to force the iron to touch all areas. And ultimately it still comes out unsatisfactory. I do not recommend. ... show more
