This helmet is sized how I expected. The fit is tight without being overly snug. It's not too heavy, and I have no trouble with neck strain or the like. The big downside here is the visor. I ride with polarized lens sunglasses, and the polycarbonate of the visor leaves rainbow streaks and swirls in your line of sight. It's also not very flat, optically speaking, so things warp and deform as they move through the visor from left to right or top to bottom. The combination of the two (which I also experience looking through the windshield of the bike, so it's not a problem specific to this helmet) mean I can't use the visor. This helmet is perfect for why we got it. We needed a nice sturdy safe helmet for a smaller sized head and this one is perfect for that. It is nice and round and perfect for a smaller head, if you are a larger person then this might not be a good one for you. The vents are open all the time which is perfect for our warmer climate and the visor stays down and fits nicely for someone that wears glasses all the time. This helmet has a great feel to it. The vents are open all the time so not a good winter helmet. The visor stays down and does not shake at high speeds. The visor is clear and gives your great visibility and protects your face from wind. The chin strap is adjustable and has a quick release. This helmet is very round, this is the strangest shaped helmet I have ever put on and has a weird fit to it. Definitely not the style I was hoping for. Looks like it will be hanging on the wall for decoration.
