Got this jet drone for my seven-year-old son. He enjoyed playing with it very. easy to fly and control. Has lots of features and it comes with spare batteries to get you started. Will definitely recommend this RC drone for younger kids. It’s not too big it’s just the right size, small and compact.

This is a relatively simple quad-copter. I had no difficulty flying it. Up/down, turn left/right, move forward/back/left/right, and an auto-land feature. The copter is very small. Most of the body is made of a lightweight styrofoam. It has a gyro, which keeps it relatively stable. The battery lasts around 4 minutes (not timed yet), and it comes with 2 batteries and 2 usb-chargers. The controller requires 3x AAA batteries. As far as flying, I found it very simple to fly. I don't have much experience with quad-copters (and it's been several years), however I was able t fly this through small hallways without crashing. The only time it became difficult to fly was 1) when the battery started getting low, at which point it would randomly drop in altitude, or 2) when passing near a fan. It didn't let me fly at high speeds or angles, though I might need to read through the instructions. Would I recommend it? I don't know. Personally, I think it's something I'll get bored of quick. I'm also concerned by the item switching on this listing, it used to be a very, very, very different item, but now it's a mini-drone? That's weird. Make sure you filter reviews. ... show more

This is a small lightweight drone. It's a good one to learn and to get use to how these things work. Being as lightweight as it is and because of the styrofoam it's made from make this safe in alot of places because it likely wouldn't damage anything. All of the controls work as they should. The battery doesnt last long so between the two of them and the charging time you really won't be using this much in a day. It comes with a small stand that you can display it on. It also has two chargers and four replacement prop blades. I'm not much of an expert on these so it's hard for me to judge the value of it. ... show more

This is an excellent RC airplane for all ages, assuming they know how to fly it. I will say looks can be deceiving because it looks like a plane but flies like a drone. That being said, that means it's easier to fly, can fly indoors, and won't damage so easily. This RC can do tricks, is easy to control and looks awesome in person. ... show more

    • SMALL Drone Good for Beginners
For the price of this drone I was expecting something bigger. I didn't see the dimensions and had assumed this would be similarly sized to other drones in this price range, but this is more of a toy. It is no bigger than my hand and is super lightweight made of styrofoam and plastic. It comes with 2 small battery packs and each one only lasts for about 2-3 minutes of flying time. The remote is very simple and would potentially be good for kids first time using a drone. There is no camera which again, is a little disappointing for a drone in this price range. Overall I was mostly disappointed with the short flight time and the small size but it could be good for a beginner. Definitely an indoor only drone as it is so lightweight that any breeze outside would blow it off course. If you're looking for a toy for kids to use, then this could be for you. If you're looking for a functional drone like others in this price range, look elsewhere. ... show more

It was pretty fun while it lasted, but I broke it now. I was flying it for quite awhile and then I ran it into something and it wrecked and broke. Not really it's fault though. I recommend it but be aware of the real possibility of it getting broke the first or second time you wreck it.
