I bought this to re-pot my baby cacti in larger pots and grow them a bit. Works great! Drains quickly. I guess that's what you want with cacti? The second time I bought it, the soil had gone bad (it smelled like vomit), but the company's customer service was so prompt in getting me a new bag I can't even complain. I replanted my string of pearls in this cactus potting mix, and it is thriving. This mix seems to be good for succulents and cacti. It is easy to use, and I have no complaints. Just don't over water your plants and "kill them with kindness" like I did in the past. Most succulents and cacti can go 7 days or more without watering. You can look up the watering timeline and amount of water on websites for the size of your plants. ... show more
