I added a Temperpedic Serta 3” mattress topper and preferred this Wonderful thick Bamboo mattress pad by far over the mattress pad that came with the topper. It’s very high quality, splendid softness and smells fresh with no chemical or polyester scents from opening to wash to bed. I did wash mine out of the box and it fluffed up perfectly and has ample tucking material for all sides. It has stayed in place perfectly for four weeks now with no pulling out or adjustments. My sleep has been softer and cooler, 60 with menopause hot flashes so that’s very important to me. I highly recommend this topper. I ordered this mattress topper because I was looking for an all natural eco-friendly option. This is definitely not it. The very top layer is made of 60% polyester-40% bamboo, which I consider to be misleading. The item is offered as “Harney Bamboo Mattress Topper.” Everything aside from 40% of the outer layer is made of petroleum-based fibers not bamboo. Since I already have it I’m going to keep it, but I must say I’m very disappointed at the way it’s described. Just got back from laundromat. This definitely would not fit in a home washer. So each trip to the laundromat will be about $10.00 and it’s already starting to bunch up after just one wash. Hopefully it will be comfortable. ... show more
