  • Good little boat
So far I have owned this boat for 4 years. It has well surpassed my expectations. I think I have put this boat through the ringer more than anyone else. I started taking it fishing with an electric motor. Then upgraded to the max HP 9.9 mercury outboard. Boat moved pretty quick with two people and some gear. I have taken it hunting out on some lakes that allow it with archery gear on it. Just recently I started throwing lobster nets on the bow and taking it out to hoop net for lobster. Ive ran it up on shore to hangout for a little bit, dropped fish and lobsters against the side of the boat. Banged into docks and other boats in tight places. Brought anchors over the side rubbing it with ropes and hitting the anchor on it. Ive been caught out in seas that boats twice the size wouldn't dare to go out in. Ive put 3 big guys all over 200 pounds and 3 girls at once for a total of 6 people in it. Here is a tip, if you're having problems planing or want more performance make sure you inflate it much more than you think. Many times I thought it was hard enough because I was scared it was going to pop. That directly affects the rigidity of the boat performance. You literally want it drum hard where you can not see any of wrinkles and pretty much the seams disappear. It makes the world of the difference having it inflated right. Pros: -Extremely portable -Once you do it a couple times setup and take down is super fast -Anti splash guards on the transom saves a ton of water from coming into the boat -All of the seams are perfect with no signs of wear -Doesn't leak air ever -The floorboards are unbelievably sturdy. Two guys can fish standing up no problem, it never bends or flexes -Stable, you can stand on one end and it wont flip -Good performance, boat will get up on plane with two people ice chest filled, lobster nets (estimated 500ish pounds) with a 9.9 mercury 4 stroke. -I never use it to row but its pretty easy to row and the oars are a good backup to have -The seats are sturdy and nice although I never use them because you get much more room without them Cons: -Its a little heavier than similar sized boats but I think its far more durable -Carrying case is awful, ripped immediately and really is just a bad cover -The drain plug rubber grommet inside for water to go out but not in falls out easily, I lost it. But still have the main plug to not let water in -Leaks water in from somewhere around the lower part of the transom slowly, this is why it lost a star. I tried to seal it but with no avail. Water inside really adds up in weight and makes it much tougher to plane. -Pump it comes with worked for a while and then broke, its fairly cheap -The metal motor mount bracket on the transoms paint started cracking and corroding, need to repaint it. -no overinflation safety valves -foot pump doesn't inflate the keel hard enough, need high pressure pump Overall great boat for the price, don't need to worry about it popping or any seams coming apart. I have had 4 years of putting this thing through the ringer and back. Any lesser boat would've popped by now. I would take this boat over any of the other off brand boats any day of the week. ... show more

  • Once I patched the holes, worked great
The first time I tried to inflate the boat, I could hear that there were some holes. Normally, I would have sent it back immediately, but I was in a remote location and needed the boat. I had just taken it out of its original box, so I was pretty frustrated that it was already torn. However, the patches that came with the order were helpful. After the two holes were patched, the boat was great. Super quick to inflate, smart design, and pretty rugged. The "bag" (more of a cloth with straps) is not great for actually transporting the boat - one of the straps broke almost immediately. While remote, the bag was great for protecting the boat, but there's no way the slats could fit in. I'm going to look for a huge duffel. With the slats, the boat is incredibly stable. We were able to walk around confidently. Overall, I like this boat. The bag needs work and I'm bummed that it was ripped out of the box, but I would still recommend it. ... show more

  • Nice Tender/Bris for the money!
The media could not be loaded. I started out buying this with Amazon and my package was delivered to another state so I made my purchase elsewhere; however, the quality of the Bris is amazing. It does have a Hull Number so ignore the review that the boat cannot be registered. My boat and trailer are insured and legally registered. The boat is extremely seaworthy and is docked at a marina. I have a Johnson 9.9 hp. ... show more

  • Great little dinghy, no problems so far, use frequently to get to our mooring.
Great dinghy for the price. Rope attachment is a little flimsy, but so far has held up although we haven’t towed it behind our sailboat.

  • Bris
Boat appears to be well made. I have a 9,9 on it and it seems to be pretty quick after it gets on plane. The back seat is useless unless you only drive straight. Every time you try to turn the tiller hits you. I think if it holds up that this boat is a good deal.

  • Bris
My mother purchased this as a gift for me because she was sick of seeing her grandchildren crammed in to an older Avon inflatable. Upon checking the Amazon reviews I was a bit scared, but have been pleasantly surprised after 2 seasons using the Bris to go to my mooring and towing around Southern New England. #1 registration is not an issue, there is a Hull ID # #2 if you tow any dinghy by only the D ring you are asking for trouble. I use a bridle to attach to the D Ring and the 2 towing straps. #3 the floor goes in the same as any dinghy I ever had. There were instructions in the packaging. Inflate half way, put in all the panels with the rear panel overlapping a bit. Put hand under dinghy to "fold" the dinghy up and snap the boards down into place. Then add the 2 Side pieces and inflate fully. I always use a cover when not in use, for UV protection and have been happy so far. Def not as good as a Hypalon dinghy, but the price point is attractive. I suspect some of the negative reviews are from people with limited experience with inflatables, or perhaps I just got lucky. ... show more

  • fatal flaw
very stable dinghy with best floor ever. But D ring was held in by apperently a couple of layers of rubberized fabric which gave way under towing even though dingy was empty. motor was on the trawler as pictured. All that was left of the dingy is the D ring shown in two pics. It was quite a shock to look back at a point in a 70 mile trip to discover that no dinghy was in sight. Except for the fialed D ring i would rate this as a 5 star all around. With the failed D ring i would rate it below zero. I have applied for justice via amazon. ... show more

  • Floor Is A Joke
I could not get the floor to lay flat no matter what I tried. Then I was not able to get the side floor stabilizers on either side. What a waste of my time and to top it all off, I have to pay to have this pos shipped back. Would not recommend this boat or this seller!

  • Great deal!
I like how sturdy it is, daughter and take it out on any body of water without worrying while we are fishing. We added the roof and some days we just go out on a lake for hours enjoying being on the water. Easy to transport, inflate and get it back into our SUV. Have had it over a year now and used it over 100 times. Everything that came on it looks brand new. Everything we have added to it looks an feels like it came this way. I can say without a doubt this was a great investment and has made some memories for us that we never imagined. ... show more

  • Nice Boat, terrible directions
We purchased this boat to use as a tender/dinghy on our larger boat. Boat seems to very high quality for the price and it included the paperwork to allow us to title/register it with the Washington State Department of Licensing. I'm only giving it 4 stars though because the directions were terrible. It didn't show adequate diagrams on how to properly assemble the floor/stringers and left us to try to figure out the orientation of the pieces and the floor. Also, it was difficult to get the floor in properly following the written directions. Definitely took 2 people. Otherwise, nice boat. ... show more
