  • Great workout station
The build quality of this product is very good. It was fairly easy to assemble and the instructions were pretty straight forward. I really like how they sectioned off all the bolts to make it as easy as possible to assemble. The bench that attaches to the back portion can be folded up and locked in placed in the upwards position to get it out of the way for when you want to do push-ups on the handles provided on the base legs or perform pull-ups or chin-ups on the upper bar. There are a couple of caveats that I will list below: When you are assembling the lower half of the station, make sure you leave the bolts loose to help get everything to line up properly. The assembly instructions were kind of vague about this step. but was no big deal. You also might run into a slight issue when assembling the center section where the back pad attaches. I ran into an issue where it looked like the center piece was too short. It's wasn't, it just took a little manipulation to get the center arms moved more inwards so you can connect the center brace properly. Not a big issue, at first I thought I put something together wrong. Turns out that most likely when the factory welded the pieces, it might have flexed the pieces outward. Still no worries once you get everything together and tightened up. Just take your time and be sure to tighten all the bolts up. I also had to go back around after some time to snug a few bolts back up once the entire unit was assembled. Having a metric ratchet set and better wrenches on hand will ease the installation. The wrenches they give you with the set are OK to work with, but you might not get all the bolts tight enough and also the installation time will be longer. I got the entire station put together in about an hour using a ratchet set and metric ratcheting wrenches. Also I want to make mention something that was listed in this ad, compared to the actual sticker on one of the station legs. In the Ad it mentions the following in the description "Over 500LBS high capacity" and even looking at the Harison website, they list the same weight capacity in their specifications, but the sticker on one of the base legs lists max weight of 220 pounds. I am guessing it's probably a flaw during the manufacturing of this and the wrong sticker was placed on the leg. So just in case you run into this as well, I would not be alarmed. I weigh 224 pounds and the station supports me just fine and feels really sturdy. I am sure to get plenty of good workouts for quite sometime with this station. Over all I am very pleased with this purchase and I did a bunch of research before making my decision to buy this station. I am glad I did. ****Update**** I have been using this station for about a month now and have not had any issues so far. ... show more

  • Excellent decision to buy after much research
I couldn't very well do a review right away; you have to use a piece of machinery for a while to know if it's any good (a year for me). For anyone who wants this type of equipment to do these specific exercises, this is your machine. I am a woman, 5'7", 145 lbs who needed to start exercising easy again - sciatica and back weakness. The station is extremely well-built, rugged, VERY heavy so carrying the box was horrible but that shows it's not a cheap piece of metal soldered together. Workmanship is excellent. Assembly was involved because of so many parts but it wasn't difficult to follow the manual. I can do everything I want, from hanging, pull ups, knee lifts, etc. I like the elastic bands. Only two suggestions (not complaints): I would add another set of clips (then a total of 3 pairs) to pull bands up from below, toward the middle and down from higher; the bench is clearly the size it is to do seated leg lifts, however, if it were a little longer, it'd be easier to use the bands from the rear (sitting or standing farther away) and even be able to lay on your side to do rotator cuff exercises, such as lift free-weights. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this machine and the price is absolutely worth every penny. Thank you folks for a great piece of home equipment (that doesn't take up the whole basement either!). ... show more

  • Too wobbly
Like the machine but when you do pull-ups the machines wobbles.

  • A little bit of customization but overall a pretty good product for the price.
I’ve only had the unit for about a week but so far for the most part I like it the one complaint that I have is that the unit is wobbly. , while in use,. I helped fix some of this problem by adding about 100 pounds of weight to the base and that helped considerably. Since I am capable of doing it I am going to fabricate a couple of cross braces and install those which I believe will make the unit much more stable while in use. For what you pay for the unit I would say that it is definitely worth that price but as the old saying goes most of the time you get what you pay for. Simply adding a little extra bracing or extra weight to the base makes this unit a very good exercise machine. Here’s a helpful hint is go to your local Lowes or Home Depot and pick up some bags of gravel which is fairly inexpensive and lay those on the bass pieces that the rest of the unit bolts to. The more weight you add the stronger and more stable the unit will become. There is a couple of units where I added very large washers so that the tubing at the unit is made of wood not crushed under the weight of tightening it up the bolts and nuts. ... show more

  • Not as good as should be for the price and descriptions.
Unfortunately, not so stable and sturdy as expected. Has some issues with alignment, feels distorted. Elbow support bars have weak fastening and very cheap lining (…😳). My left is already broken after 2 weeks of rare use…Now I have to replace or remake both for sturdiness. It’s extra time and work for me. Pull up bar is quite good and handles feel comfortable. Easy to assemble. But a creak is heard. I would say it is a great product if it was so, but it is tolerant in use for me. When I will find a better product( definitely not from this manufacturer) immediately will exchange this for the new one. Good luck! ... show more
