It is soft, plush, has a handle, is easy to zip together. It arrives vacuum packed and folded. I let it air out for a day, after removing from packaging. Then let it sit for a week, thinking it would bounce back, but the fold from shipping has stayed, giving it a 1" to 1.5" permanent sag in the middle, look. It isn't perfect. The product photo does not look like it was ever folded, vacuum packed and shipped around the world in a shipping container. The house covering is not waterproof material, however the bottom is vinyl covered. It is made for indoor use. I am putting it outside under a porch that is protected from weather on the north, east, and west sides so it should be fine. I also purchased a heated cat bed (smallest size) and located it at the back of the house, for warmth. It is zipped inside the pillow so it stays in place. No matter how cold it gets, the feral cat will always be warm. He has another, open bed that has no heat, next to this one so he can choose to be as warm as he wants. Please spay and neuter your cats, people. Btw, it took less than 5 minutes for the cat to get inside and enjoy his new heated house. He is a big cat (now) and fits ok. 12-23-19 Update: End flap with entrance hole zipper operates, but does not stay closed after it is zipped. The zipped part just separates. Defective zipper. 2-6-21 Update: After my last update the feral cat decided to not try to get inside anymore. He finished collapsing it (defective end zipper didn't help) and laid on top of it til it was flattened. Good news is kitty was a sweetheart and neighbor lady and a care giver loved him so much, he found a new home! Bed went into trash.

I bought this for a feral female who was about to have kittens. She came into my garage and climbed into it one rainy night, so I closed the garage door. The next morning she had given birth to six wonderful kittens. She loved the house. We took out the padded insert and washed it after she had given birth and put it back. They loved it. It was well worth the money and is very durable.

My orange cat normally doesn't like sleeping in beds, even regular ones that don't have a top on it but his sister will sleep in all kinds of beds. Lately she's been looking for something that will cover her because it's colder and this pet bed is perfect for her. However, my my boy is wanting to lay inside of it too. When it came, I was afraid it wasn't going to stay standing but it does. The padding that goes inside is the perfect amount for her since she doesn't like them to fluffy. She will sleep in this bed during the day and at night. When I need to wash it, I just unzip and wash this with the other pet beds and blankets. I put them all in the dryer but keep them on medium heat. This bed is fully washable and dryer safe and has yet to fade or anything else. She definitely loves her new bed, and now has to share it with a cat who normally won't sleep in beds.

Very Cute! Assembles quick with zipper. But structure/fabric too thin to hold it's shape. Bought this for a 3 lb chihuahua so space is good, but walls and roof cave easily. It was mailed to me in a large envelope. I thought, how can you get a padded dog house with a padded floor in an envelope? Well, you can if its flimsy. And that is the best word to describe it - flimsy. But cute!

Not worth 30 bucks. Get a paper bag call it day. It's flimsy my cat likes to lay on my over sized chair next to my bed sometimes so I decided to put it there for some extra cozyness. And she freaking rolled over flipped off while in the darn thing. It's needs a stiff material on the bottom underneath the cushion to give it stability.

An absolute disappointment! This is not machine washable. After initially receiving this item, I tossed it in the washer and set to delicate. When I opened the door after the cycle was over, to my horror, it was absolutely shredded! What a shame! It looked so cozy and warm, too.

Within 30 seconds he was inside and made himself comfortable. If we can’t find the cat, we know he’s in his new bed. The cushion is a bit flimsy. I folded up a beach towel and put it under the cushion for some extra insulation and softness.
